chapter 7

Harry's pov

-1 week later after Daph's incident

"Please don't! Please!" the girl hopelessly begs for me not to kill her

"But sweetie I want to. And im so very hungry" I say and then sink my teeth into her neck sucking the sweet blood from her body.

She struggles but its no use against my vampire strength.

Her body begins to become limp, and when I suck all the life out of her, i let her go and she drops to the floor dead.

Now you may think that this is cruel and that im a monster well

1.Yes it is cruel but I have to eat just like all of you have to

2. Yes, a vampire IS a monster genius

And 3...

I love being one.

I don't feel bad at all of the person I kill. Not at all. They're just food and I need to eat.

But there is one person that I would never DARE to do that to..

Daphnie.

I could never do that. I love her and what I did was the most stupid thing I could have ever done.

I actually considered killing myself that night, but I knew that would kill her even more so I chose not to.

Okay okay snap out of it. Back to reality

So I decide to just leave the body here and let the police find it but pathetically never find out that the murderer is a monster.

Pretty funny right?

So anyways, I begin to walk back into town.

Ive been gone for at least a week just to get away and think.

When im walking onto main street, something catches my eye.

I see several people handing out flyers and pinning the papers onto poles, trees, and buildings.

But they all have sad looks on their faces.. and on the flyer, is a picture of Daphnie

I go up to one of the people which is a man pinning up one of the flyers and i tap his back.

The man turns around and I ask

"Hey whats wrong? Whats happening here?"

The man gives me a sympathetic smile and hands me the flyer

"Haven't you been watchin the news son?" he asks softly

And what I see on the flyer makes me take off running at my full vampire speed not caring who saw back to my house.

When I get to my house, i turn on the tv and the news is already on and a reporter and police are on the screen

Day 5 and still no sign of the missing teenage girl Daphnie Hunter. She has been missing since last Saturday that afternoon and according to her group of friends, and never came back.

Since then, everyone in the town and even some out of the state came to help search for the girl. And heres Officer Gray.

"Thank you Jenn. So the search is still very much on and we know that we will not give up on this little girl so quickly like we did with the last two cases not so long ago. Here, right now, no one is even near ready to give up. Not again. We are not gonna give up until we find her. Daphnie if you can hear me, help is on the way sweetie."
