Got the Voice Back

Portal's POV

We were going to get Grace's voice back. I wanted that burger. Also I wanted to talk to her again. MZ, Grace, Nade, Glimmer, and I ran out of the room and ran into Chell.

"Chell!" I yelled. "We need to find GLaDOS. Can you tell us where she is?"

The silent woman nodded and ran to a wall. We followed her, and stopped in front of the wall.

"Chell, this is a wall. How is this supposed to help?" MZ asked, annoyance in her voice.

Chell held up her index finger, as if to say "one moment". She wiped her hand againt the wall, and dust came off to reveal a key pad. She typed in a password, and a secret door opened.

"Sweet!" Nade whisper/yelled.

"Chell, you're the awesomest person ever!" I said as I hugged her. Glimmer took me off of the "former" test subject, and we all went through the door.

"Is this the control room for GLaDOS?" Grace asked through sign language.

Chell nodded as I exclaimed. "I didn't know you could speak sign language!"

Grace looked at me weirdly and said through her hands, "I didn't know you did either. And I've been doing this since I was little, just in case."

I nodded as we walked further into the secret room. The door "slammed" shut (it was a slide door), and an evil laugh echoed through the room. I was sure at this point that this was the right place.

"You fell right into my trap!" GLaDOS said, then laughed again.

I was about to say, "What do you mean?", but my statement didn't get through. We were soon caught up in cages, and hanging from the ceiling.

"LET US DOWN!" Nade yelled with fire in his eyes.

"I think, never! I thought this would be a better form of torture, you guys getting to watch your friend slowly die, and son you die also. Now, I would like you to meet my newest droid here, um, I can't remember her name." GLaDOS shrugged the neglect of names off as a robot that looked like Grace came in the room.

We all gasped, well, except for Grace (who really wanted to) and Chell (who had a blank expression). I saw a white portal space where GLaDOS and the "Grace-Bot" were. I had an idea. But I need a portal gun! Ugh! I sat in the large cage, looking at my hands. Wait, they were glowing. How did I not notice this before? Eh. I held my left hand out, which was glowing blue, and shot a blue portal onto a portal surface in our cage. Everyone in the cage looked at me.

"What? I just now discovered too." I said.

Nade walked to me and whispered, "Send a portal to where they are, and I'll shoot flames at them."

My eyes grew big in realization as Nade gave me an assuring nod. I shot an orange portal behing the wall the two robots were in front of. Luckily the portals were quiet, because "Grace" and GLaDOS didn't turn around to see us. Nade shot a flame ball at the Grace robot, and she immediately exploded. The real Grace caught sight of her voice box. She ran and caught it in mid-air. She gave us a thumbs-up as Nade shot GLaDOS, the human A.I. exploding as well.

"Let's go!" Glimmer yelled as we ran toward a nearby exit.

As soon as we went through the door, we saw two robots we were not expecting to see. Wheatley AND GLaDOS.
