Third Person POV
An explosion was taken near the portal. The Phoenix Alliance rushed over with weapons, expecting an intruder to be there. But instead of finding what they expected all they found was an enormous hole in the ground, down to bedrock.
Aphmau looked around in surprise, and then she saw it, the thing she dreaded the most, Aaron's sword, his bandana, and his body. Zane was a few feet away. Both of their bodies were sprawled out, Aphmau rushed to see Aaron, until his body disintegrated into thin air, along with Zane's.
Tears filled Aphmau's eyes, she let out a loud, bloody Mary scream, Garroth raced up the hill to see Aphmau, screaming and crying on the ground. She gathered up Aaron's things and held them close, like it was the most important thing to her.
Aaron sacrificed, his own life just for Garroth.
