Raw sewage in rivers and oceans
Solid waste disposal in gullies and valleys
Litter-filled streets and parks...
Oh what a horrible sight!
Stripped naked, my green cloak removed
Toxic emissions in the atmosphere
And the pungent odours diffused in the air
No one cares
No one sees my tears.
Do you ever stop to think..
In destroying me, you are destroying you
You need to inhale pure, unpolluted air
You need clean and potable water,
You need my ozone layer to protect you from the harmful ultraviolet rays if the sun
You need a litter-filled environment to help to prevent flooding and disease
You need the trees to prevent global warming, soil erosion and mudslides
You need me to stay alive.
Stop!Look at my tears!
