Alexandra's POV

I sat in my bed on my phone. It's a 7+ rose gold because I come from a wealthy orphanage. We get whatever we want here because our leaders are very generous with the money. Life here isn't terrible but I'm tired of sharing a bedroom with a 5 year old as a 12 year old. I know what your thinking "it's not that bad" yes it is because there are also 17 year olds with 8 year olds. Also I am very mature for my age.

Oh yeah sorry, manners. My name is Alexandra Lee. I am 12 years of age and 5'1. My hair is a very light strawberry blonde. My skin is not completely pale but it's not tan either. My eyes are a shade of blue but not a pretty shade in my opinion.

My leader called me down to the office, probably an adoption interest. A few days before this my leader told me that a young couple would be looking.

I went down and saw an Indian girl. About my height maybe a little taller the guy was about 6 foot and he had black hair

"Ok Alexandra this is David and Liza, the young couple I told you about. They decided to adopt you. Go back upstairs and pack what you want to take with you." I went up. I'm pretty sure I've seen that girl on musical.ly before... I'm not sure. I got my maroon Nike duffle bag and my black and white one and packed. I put all of my belongings in them.

I put on my maroon converse, grabbed my MacBook and my rose gold beats. I really like the color rose gold if you didn't figure that out. I went downstairs to be greeted by Liza. " Ready to go? " she ,optioned for me to walk out and I followed. She led me to a white tesla. They opened the butterfly doors and I was greeted by David and another person.

"Alexandra this is Alex. He lives with us." I just gave him a weird look. He laughed at me.. Dear lord I'm too socially awkward for this.they put my stuff in the back and we headed on the streets of L.A.

We got to an apartment building. It looked wealthier. Once we stopped and parked the car David pulled out a camera.? Okay then

"Okay guys I'm really bad at transitions but Liza and I just adopted a kid. Her name is Alexandra!" I waved at the camera. He talked a little more and we got out of the car.

We got to the apartment and walked in. It was completely empty other than the boxes from their old places. "Alexandra you can pick your room first. I walked around and settled on an okay sized room so David and Liza could have the master bedroom.  It was right beside what would be Alex's room and across from it was the bathroom him and I would share.

"Hey Alexandra we are gonna head to ikea to get furniture for your room in about 5 minutes." Liza told me "kk" I replied. I put on my vs pink sweatshirt type shirt and some black leggings and my grey vans and me and Liza headed out in her car since David and Alex were going to their friends house

Liza and I started talking about her career and yes I knew i saw her on musical.ly she is a YouTuber and gets payed for it.

We arrived at ikea and went in. We found a mattress, night stand, a makeup vanity a dresser for my clothes and a headboard.

We then went to target and got some fairy lights, a tapestry, a bed set  and a makeup mirror for me.

We headed back and had David set up everything while I put my clothes and shoes away.
