"Wake up," I feel Liam shaking me and peppering me in kisses. "Rise and shine, beautiful!" I start groaning and wrap my arms around Liam's stomach. "I don't want to," I tell him while whining.

"You have to, it's your first day at your new job!" Liam tells me excitedly. "I know, and I'm very excited!" I say sitting up in Liam and mines bed. After our honeymoon Liam and I bought our first house together. "Today starts out life together!"

From there I begin my morning by showering and getting dressed for work. While doing my hair I smelled eggs and bacon from the kitchen, I knew Liam must have been cooking. I throw on my brand new scrubs and my new white tennis shoes. I then slip on my black jacket to block the cold of the morning.

"I packed your lunch, made you coffee, and your breakfast is on the table." Liam greets me as I walk into the kitchen. "Wow, maybe I should start a new job everyday." I joke, I take a seat and begin eating.

"Louis and Harry are coming over tonight for dinner," Liam tells me. "Why?" I ask him, "Just to hang out." He answers me, I just shrug it off. "Okay, I'm off to work! Wish me luck," I give Liam a kiss and grab my coffee, lunch, and my purse.

"Good luck!" Liam tells me.

"Excuse me, I need help finding Brandi. She's the RN in charge," I ask the first guy that I come across. "New meat, huh?" He asks and I nod. "Right, she's over there. I'm Alex, by the way. Doctor Alex Marrow," I give him a small smile. "I'm Cameron Payne, the new nurse here."

I begin walking towards whom I assume is Brandi. As I walk away I hear the Alex doctor say something, "She'll be gone her first day."

"Hi, are you Brandi the RN in charge?" I ask a middle aged woman. She looks me up and down and snickers. "Yes, you must be Cameron. Follow me," she begins walking away and it takes me semi running to catch up to her.

"Wait, don't I have to get a badge and stuff?" I question her. "Should of thought of that before you spoke to me, huh? I need these bed pans cleaned and room 303 needs x-rays done. If you need me I'll be in room 312," she leaves me to myself. I had no idea what to do.

So far my first day of work was hell and back, Brandi was a bitch and I could feel the stares of everyone around me. Around lunch I ate as fast as I could so I could go and get my things from the manager in charge.

"I need my badge and schedule," I tell the front desk. "Name," the lady questions me. "Cameron Payne," I answer her. "Right, we had your stuff ready this morning. Here is your badge, follow me." She then showed me the locker room and how I had to slide my badge to get into the locker room and my locker. She then told me where to clock in every morning and to always make my rounds before finding the RN in charge.

"Some tough shit," I turn around to see a girl around my age with Alex. "I'm Miranda, a nurse here. Brandi's a bitch right?" She asks me and I can't help but laugh. "Yeah, I'm Cameron. Your Alex right?" I ask looking at him. "Oh, don't worry about him. He likes to hit on every girl at the hospital, we call him the doctors playboy." She says joking around. "That's not what you were saying your first day here." Alex argues with her.

"Well, that won't happen. I'm married," I tell him. "Payne, your paid to work not talk!" Brandi yells at me. "Have fun," Miranda says offering a smile.

Cameron: Work sucks ass.

Liam: I'm sorry baby, what happened?

Louis: Her daddy isn't there to please her

Harry: LOUIS! You just can't text that

Niall: INNOCENT EYES

Cameron: Innocent eyes my ass

Liam: smh

Louis: What does smh even mean?

Louis: Is it like shhh? Or shit me hoe

Harry: *Leaves conversation*

Louis: No baby come back!!!

Cameron: *Leaves conversation*

Liam: *Leaves conversation*

Niall: *Leaves conversation*

Louis: Whaaa???

Zayn: Huh? What did I miss?

I begin my walk out to my car after I clocked out. The conversation over text still runs through my head, a small smile plays on my lips.

"How was the first day?" Miranda interrupts my thoughts as I'm about to open the car door.

"It was okay, it'll be better tomorrow. See you then!" She smiles and gets into her car and drives away.

"What are you making tonight?" Liam asks me as I'm in the kitchen. I still haven't changed out of my work cloths. Once I got home I went straight to cooking, Louis and Harry would be here around six o'clock. "I'm making tacos, it's a taco kind of night." I tell him simply. "Was work that bad?" He asks me, "Well it had it's good parts. I think I made some friends."

"Well that's great!" He gives me a kiss, "Things will get better." And that's what I kept telling myself.

This is the first chapter of Married To Liam Payne!! Yay!!!
