I love this peaceful town dearly, the people were friendly, the kids danced around the streets, smiles on everyone's faces, the birds chirped and sang without a care in a world. A perfect town.
"Joe, don't forget your lunch!" my mother called as I almost walked outside to go to high school, I run over to the kitchen and grab my lunch and hug my mom and give her a kiss on the cheek, I ran back outside and I could hear my mom yelling, "learn something," as she heads over to close the front door. I ran as fast as I could to school, it's not that I was going to be late, I just think being at school early is a good thing and most of my friends are there too! "Joe! Wait up!" I hear someone call from behind me, and I stop and turn to look who it is. From the distance, i can see Ko struggling to catch up with me and breathing heavily. When he catches up to me, he puts his hands on my shoulders, "try slowing down, I've been trying to catch up with you!" I chuckle and apologize to him. Ko is a Japanese transfer student and only started coming here two weeks ago, and during those two weeks, we've gotten pretty close. Ko is the really skinny type, he's not very athletic but if he tries he could get stronger, Ko doesn't wear very flashy clothes like others at our high school, and I'm glad he doesn't, at least now I don't feel like the only one out, he's only wearing a anime t-shirt and shorts on, along with some worn-out sneakers. His hair has yellow highlights in it (I've always assumed his natural hair color is black), his eyes are a dark green, and unless you looked at him closely, he doesn't really look Japanese! As for me, I have brown hair, with hazel eyes, and what I'm currently wearing is a jacket with a tank-top underneath, ripped jeans, and new sneakers I got yesterday! "Hey Joe, c'mon, let's get going to school," he says and we both start light jogging towards high school. I feel today is going to be a great day!
I step out from behind the tree that looked so beautiful and green, it was so majestic and beautiful like me, a star shinning so bright, me Mako. This town, this oh so beautiful town will soon belong to me. Oh and that kind-heart, so sweet Joe, will soon be brought down, how I despise him, but his sadness will come crumbling down not quickly, but slow and painfully.I can't contain my excitement. I'm so giddy.
