Chasing You

Saturday was quite bizarre. It seems like a complete blur to me, I still believe that the encounter I had with Mako was just a bad dream, I must have eaten something bad. It's only 4:50 AM, couple hours until school. My skepticism still leads to me to believe that I'm just going insane. I get up from my bed and take a look around, my paranoia ever so increasing, I can't let that bizarre encounter with Mako get the best of me, or else I'll be living in that guys shadow. Still, I have no clue what I did to deserve any of this dirt from Mako, maybe I did something terrible in my past life? I'm have put in the mindset that Mako might have some strange ability that gives him the advantage of ruining my life even more, and that must not happen, ever. I fall back into the warmth of my bed, the only thing making me sane really, I then close my eyes and begin to fall into a slumber.

The morning sun has begun to shine over my room's window, it is the beginning of a new week. I get up from my bed and begin to get ready for school.

My lunch is packed, I have my school clothes on, I kissed my mom goodbye and I am now walking towards the school. It was quite unusual, normally Ko always walks with me to school, but this morning he was nowhere to be seen. Is Mako behind this? No, impossible, I'm letting my anxiety get the best of me, and that's what Mako wants to tear my life apart. Ko is probably out sick, but now I will have to deal with Mako by myself. Before I arrive to the school, I look towards the distance and see Mako and Ko talking behind a tree. My body begins to tense up, I want to run over there and rip Ko away from him, but I am frozen. Then, multiple versions of me appear, "It's happening again!" I say aloud. They're all standing still, frozen just like me. I feel my body begin to flare up and all the versions of me start to begin to try to combine with me. My whole body feels aflame, I have to do something about this. I stretch my leg out, getting ready to make a run for it towards Mako and Ko. My legs burst out and I start to run, then all the versions of me begin to fade away, I am getting closer to them. The more my feet come up and hit the ground the more my heart pounds to the ever steady beat. Chasing Mako. This has turned into a game of cat and mouse and there was no way in hell I was ever going to be the mouse. Chasing Mako. Chasing Mako. Chasing Mako... I am now in front of them, staring into the cold eyes of Mako and trying to burn down the ice cold glare with my fierce ambition to win this game. Ko gives off a scoff, disgusted at me for some reason. "So Mako," Ko speaks, "Joe really said all those things about me?" Mako's glare then fades to a warm smile that I can obviously  tell is fake, "Yes Ko, Joe has no regards to you in anyway, I would never lie to you." Ko's expression then turns into one of a cat ready to pounce, "well Joe," he says, "if you really do think of me in that way, I think you've proven to me how much a scumbag you are." Ko then closes his eyes and begins to walk away. I turn to Mako, and his ice cold glare is back, "Well then Joe, what will you do now that you no longer have no friends?" I make a fist and clench it, I then raise my fist and try to punch him, he catches my fist and then something begins to hit me, but I can't see it. I am then blown away, and he quickly comes over to me. I then feel a fury of punches begin to hit against me, I start to cough up blood but the punches don't stop. I hear Mako yell, "DURARARARARARARARARA," it's the last thing I hear before everything start to go black.
