We walked hand in hand
towards the lake .
Our pinkies tied
as we swore,
"Friendship forever
and nothing more."
I told you my secrets
let you climb my wall,
I stood awake with you
as you cried through the solid night.
I never left your side.
I thought you would never betray me
I thought you could never hurt me .
You called yourself my twin,
Answer me this question ,
Would my twin betray me and let me die?
You stabbed me and left me there to cry!
That smile you shone
led me to believe you loved me,
You hid yourself behind all those kind words you said
You battled the bullies
But left me living with the biggest one
Like a flower you used me to grow
Survival of the fittest,
every flower has its day now the sun burns hot you are dying as the days go by
The shoes on the other foot now but....
To hell with you
I'm letting your hand go
