The house was big. She could be with him, or she could be on her own. He had his own space. To think. Or stare. He always had a blank stare. Except for when she was there.
She was quite different. Not like anything he had experienced before. Maybe that's why she got to stick around so long. Rookie mistake.
He was empty. Hollow actually. He was there before, but he's been damaged. You could even say stolen. All gone. Empty.
She didn't know that though. She thought she got all of him. She enjoyed all of him she got.
