*Sometime before Law got his tattoos*
-----------------------------------

"Please help! Please someone help me!"

I cry tears streaming down my face as my eyes frantically search for someone who might hear my pleading voice. Looking behind to look over my shoulders I cringe again at the sight. My lower half crushed beneath a wall of bricks and steel. I had already lost feeling in my toes, now my knees were starting to feel tingly. I look back out to the fiery mess before me, a heavy sob escapes from my lungs. This is it. I'm going to die here in a burning building. Squeezing my eyes shut thinking of how it could possibly get any
worse, my voice cries out again.

"Somebody! Please! Anybody please help me!"

Lungs straining from the smoke and urgency in my voice. The heat seems closer now. The pain from the weight only seems to be getting worse. Maybe I'll pass out before I end up burning to death. Crackling wood echoes in my ears, my thighs have started tingling and I've lost most feeling in my knees. Breathing heavily I lay my sweat covered face against the heated ground. Snaps of fire and burning building materiel sounds in my ears.

"Mam?"

My eyes creak open. A voice? All that comes into view is a blazing fire. Orange, red, and brown cloud my view. A sweaty paw rests on my forehead. Instantly disgusted by the inch of sweat pouring off the paw I retract myself, wanting to die in piece.

"Dog. Go get help," mumbling incoherently as I close my eyes once more.

"Shachi! Penguin! I found the woman who was screaming for help!"

I flinch at the voice. Hallucination? My inner self wants to give me peace? No. Can't be. I'm in too much pain. I feel the paw move from my forehead to my shoulders. Thuds along the floorboards rush towards me and the faceless voice.

"Bepo! Good job!"

"Yes, I did!"

"Don't gloat!"

"Sorry!"

If I wasn't under a pile of rubble inside a burning building, I'd be laughing my ass off at the exchange between these three heroes. I open my eyes briefly, straining to catch a glimpse off my heroes. The fire and smoke forces me too shut my eyes, I whimper hoping these people can save me faster.

"Penguin go get Law! I'm afraid if we try to move her out ourselves we could cause some serious damage."

"Yes!"

A pair of footsteps quickly rush away from where I lay. I outstretch a hand towards the departure of my hero.

"Wait. Please don't leave me." I gasp for breath as I wheeze this from my throat. A large coarse hand gently grabs my outreaching one and gently rubs the back of the hand. Soothing my nerves, but I tightly wrap my thin shaking fingers around the hand.

"Don't worry mam. He's not leaving you. He's just going to get better help."
Better help? Why can't you just help me now?

"Please. It hurts."

I mumble, barely able to contain the tremble of my lips and the sobs threatening to burst from my throat. His grip tightens on my sweaty hands, "It'll be okay. We'll be able to help you."

Nodding, my skin burns from the heated flooring. Soon this whole place will collapse with all of us still trapped inside. I wiggly my hips a little to see if I could actually edge myself out, but immediately regret that choice. That small movement sent searing pain up my back, I scream out in pain.

"Mam! Please don't move! We don't want to cause any further injures than necessary!"

"Don't worry mam! Our captain is probably on his way!"
