It was the 12th day of Chris'stay at the hospital, His friend tried pulling him forcefully to get him out of the room but they failed. They just left support for his decision, They kept bringing him clothes and food.

He was very tired, But he's not going to give up again...Not again. Every night he would curse himself, Everyday guilt will rush through his body. It was killing him inside out.

The tired will always hushed him to sleep, Dreams full of her memories. Sometimes, He would dream of her crying.

He rubbed his eyes, Waking up to the miserable dream. The aftermath of this event scared the life out of him.

Marie's body was out of sight, Literally She was out of bed. He looked for her in the room, Walked toward the small bathroom, She was missing

"N-no" He stuttered

He straightly went for the door, About to scream but stopped as He saw her standing in front pf the vending machine. She made herself balance with the pole.

He saw her squat down to get the food and turned around with an 'Oh'

"Do you want some?" She casually said, Reaching up the packed chocolate chips to him.

He wanted to say all of his apologies, Instead he hugged her.

"You're squishing me" She squealed, He was so thankful that she hugged him back

"Lets come back to the room, I don't think my balance will carry on" She tried to walk back, His arm around her.

As they enter the room, Marie was making her way to the bed. He made her sit without any problems like pain or ache.

Chris hugged her with tears, It shock her.

"I-I'm sorry" He choked, Regretting every choices that he made

"Its my fault that you're in here" The guilt was in his mind and heart, Regrets filled him with anxiety and depression.

"It's...It's okay...Don't cry..." She whispered, Her hand playing with his hair.

He kept sobbing..

She held him for a while, Humming a soft tune that was familiar to him. It felt like hours but it was only minutes. He stopped. She can feel his breath against her neck.

"We'll start again...right?" The question was filled up with curiosity and sadness. He let go of her to see if she was sincere and honest.

They stared at each other, Her eyes locked with his. He saw no lies.

"Are you sure?" He looked down. He was so into the blaming his self act.

She made him look up, Gave him that smile. The smile which he fell in love with

"I love you"
