AALIYAH

I can't believe were official. I have to tell someone.

I group called the girls.

"Fallen: how was the date." She asked.
"Tori and Lyric: yea how was it." They screamed.
"Me: we're official." I said into the phone taking off my boots and sitting in the day chair on my balcony.

We talked a bit longer and then I got ready of bed for church in the morning.

* Next Morning *

"Liyah. Get up we gotta got to church." Mom yelled in the intercom.

I got up yawned and hopped in the shower for 15 minutes and went in my closet.

I picked out my high waisted black dress shorts they came to about mid thigh. I picked out my sleeveless cobalt blue dress button up shirt with a leather studded collar. I also picked up my black blazer and black red bottoms.

I went to my mirror and put my hair in a high bun with my side bang. I did mascara, blush, Lip gloss, and eye liner for make up and sprayed my Baby Phat perfume. I grabbed a big cobalt blue purse to match my shirt, put my bible and stuff in it and went downstairs. I put some food out for Rah and put some toys for him to play with outside.

"Finally Princess decides to come down." DJ said.

"Your mom said bye she already left for her plane so it's just us today." Daddy said.

DJ got in the front of the sedan so I got in the back. We pulled up to this big church.

"Where did you find this church?" DJ asked.

"Xzavier recommended it to me." Dad said.

"This is Xzavier's church?" I asked.

"I guess." dad said.

Dad walked ahead of us while I walked by DJ.

"You two went on a date last night." DJ asked.

"Yea." I said.

"So y'all are official." he said as a statement. I looked at him confused. How did he know? "I heard you on the phone last night." He said.

Ohh that's how he knew. When we got o the door the sign said no food or drinks and cell phones off.

I turned my phone to silent and waled in the church.

"We're early?" I asked.

"Yea about 5 minutes tho." dad said.

Then I spotted he girls.

"Daddy can I sit with my friends?" I said.

"Sure but don't be playing or loud. I'm not kidding Liyah." Daddy said.

"Thanks." I said.

I walked behind the girls and tapped Lyric on the shoulder.

"Liyah? What are you doing here?" she asked.

"To tame elephants." I said sarcastically. "Duh to go to church."

Lyric was wearing a maxi dress that was white and orange with black red bottoms.

Fallen was wearing a black knee length pencil skirt with a red sleeveless ruffle shirt and flats.

Victoria was wearing a floor length orange high low skirt with a black dress shirt with a leather collar like one but not studded and black wedges.

"We look cute." Tori said.

"Yea we do." Fallen said.

A bell rung.

"Church is staring let's go to our seats." Lyric said.

"Good Morning Church." The pastor said. "Turn to Psalms 100 and read along with me."

I pulled out my custom made bible which was light blue with my name in gold letters. I turned to the page and started reading with every one else.

Xzavier sat behind us along with two of his friends and DJ.

The church service went quick. It was like 4 hours Long which was short compared to New York. We would be in church all night.

It was 2:10 when church ended.

"So do you just want to go to the mall now?" X asked me.

"Sure let me ask my Dad." I said.

I walked over to my dad who just finished talking I the pastor.

"Dad can I go to the mall?" I asked.

"Yea just be careful. Do you have money." He asked.

"Yea I have my black card." I said.

"Okay have a nice time be home before 6." He said.

"Thanks Daddy." I said giving him a hug.

I walked over to Xzavier talking to a lady about my mothers age.

"Aaliyah this is my mother. Mom this is my girlfriend Aaliyah." X said.

"Hi I'm Rachel or you can call me mom. Nice to meet you." she said then pulled me in for a hug.

"Nice to meet you as well Rachel." I said.

"You must be special Zavy doesn't bring every girl to meet me." She said smiling. I giggled.

"Oh is that right Zavy." I teased.

"Mom really why did you call me that in front of her?!" Zavy whined.

"Shut up boy. I gotta go see ya Aaliyah." she said and gave a hug. "Bye Xzavier." then she walked away.

"See how my own momma treat me?" he laughed.

"It's gonna be okay Zavy." I said giggling.

"Please don't call me that." he said leaning in for a kiss.

I turned my head so gel issued my cheek. "We're still in church." I said.

He groaned. "Okay let's go." He said grabbing my hand and leading me outside.

We went shopping and got matching J's and SnapBacks which we planned to wear to school tomorrow and he took me home.

XZAVIER

After dropping off Liyah I went straight home smiling. I walked to my front door and unlocked it. I put my bags down and went to my room. The door was cracked and someone was on my bed.
