Raura: Always Hiding

Chapter 2:

~the next day~

Ross- (walks over to Laura's house and knocks on the door)

Damiano (Laura's dad)- (opens the door) hello

Ross- is your daughter home

Damiano- how do you know her

Ross- I live across the street and saw you move in

Damiano- well she can't see you (starts to close the door)

Ross- (holds the door open) why can't she see me

Damiano- she just can't (closes the door)

Ross- that was weird (starts to walk away)

Laura- (comes up behind him)

Ross- (turns around) where did you come from

Laura- I... I was here the whole time

Ross- okay so do you want to do something

Laura- I can't. My parents will get mad

Ross- they won't know just come with me (takes Laura to an abandoned house)

Laura- can we really go in there

Ross- I do all the time (takes Laura's hand and pulls her in)

Laura- wow! I thought this place would have spider webs and everything but it's so clean

Ross- I sneak out and come here all the time. For the first month I cleaned up the spider webs and the dust

Laura- this is amazing

Ross- i guess it is. So what's your name

Laura- I'm Laura

Ross- a pretty name for a pretty girl

Laura- (smiles) thanks

Ross- why are your eyes-

Laura- (looks away) we should get back

Ross- okay

(They leave and go to their houses)

Riker- we're you at their house

Ross- me and the girl went to the abandoned house

Riker- be careful

Ross- I always go there

Riker- I was talking about the girl

Ross- she's just a girl trying to fit in like me. She wants to be normal but her parents won't even let her out of the house

Riker- well you don't know her that well so watch out
