You are a Dark God Slayer of Fairy Tail. You usually went on quest by yourself but this time you went with Evergreen to help her get her mind off of things, she was your childhood friend after all.

Recently Evergreen and Elfman had a break up which worked out for you since you had a serious crush on Evergreen but you didn't want to take advantage of her. Yes you liked her but it would make you scum to try and date her right now.

As you got on the train you put both her and your bags in the compartment above. You had packed some equipment just in case you had to stay in the forest for a night but that wasn't likely.

"You didn't have to carry my bags all the way here." Evergreen said, smiling slightly.

"I wouldn't be a gentlemen if I didn't. Besides you looked pretty running around and looking in shops carefree." You teased playfully.

"Oh stop it you." Evergreen giggled, blushing.

"Well I'm glad you came with me! Sometimes these quests can be boring with nobody to talk to." You continued as you both sat down on a bench to rest.

"It's really nice of you to take me on a mission to help me get my mind off of the break up." Evergreen said, smiling at you.

"S-so you guessed my intentions huh?" You said, chuckling.

"Of course we've been friends since we were kids!" Evergreen said, hugging you in a friendly way in which you returned.

"So what's the mission about anyway?" Evergreen asked.

"Oh we just have to help out at a daycare." You said.

"How long?" She asked.

"About a day or two." You say, getting up. "Ready to go?"

"Alright lead the way!" Evergreen said, smiling gently.

One hour later

After going to an inn and putting their things in their rooms they headed off to the daycare.

"Oh I'm glad you're here! We've been short staffed due to some of our people quitting." An old man said as he guided them through to the play area.

"Why have they been quitting?" Evergreen asked.

"Kids being kids of course. Their generation isn't he best at acting calmly." The old Man said as he opened the door to show the kids practically destroying the play area as they threw things and some of the boys were wrestling.

"Oh my this might be a little difficult." Evergreen said, butting her thumb in thought.

"I've got this." (Y/N) said, walking in and whistling loudly as all the kids stopped and looked at him. "Clean up this mess before I turn everyone of your behinds fifty shades of red!" He shouted and watched as the kids started to do as he said immediately.

"Now how did you do that?" The old man asked.

"You just have to be scary and then have a small reward after to show you're actually nice." (Y/N) said as he pulled out a bag of candy.

"I didn't know you were good with kids." Evergreen said in surprise.

"You get experience when you help out at an Orphanage for a while." (Y/N) said, chuckling.

"So that's why you were gone for a few weeks last summer." Evergreen said.

"Yep and it was kinda fun except when one of the kids bit me." (Y/N) replied.

"Looks like their done." The old man said.

"Alright then, everyone come get your reward!" (Y/N) said as he handed candy to the kids gathering around him.

Evergreen watched with a smile as she felt a pang in her heart at the sight.

'Why do I feel so in love with him now after the break up?' Evergreen thought.

"Hey you okay?" (Y/N) asked, waving a hand in front of her face.

"Oh! I'm alright I was just in thought." Evergreen said.

"Oh then how about-mmh?!" Both (Y/N)'s and Evergreens eyes widened as two of the kids pushed them together and they kissed. Letting their feelings take hold they both deepened the kiss but broke apart after a few seconds.

"Told ya they like each other!" One of the kids said triumphantly as another gave him 5 jewel in return.

Both (Y/N) and Evergreen blushed.

"Well that was a thing." (Y/N) said as they both smiled and gave each other a quick kiss before going back to work.

They had 3 billion kids and lived happily ever after, or just lived happily ever after your choice.
