We pulled up in front of the mall to where my sister Ruth worked. I noticed that Delilah had a book in her hands. I grabbed the book from her hands and threw it into the car then locked it.
"Hey! What'd you do that for? I was reading that." Delilah complained.
"You wanna be popular? No more novels." I instructed.
"Fine, but can I read them at home at least ?" She pleaded.
"Well, I guess. Just if nobody's around." I reasoned.
"Yay." She exclaimed.
We walked into the Hair Salon, and I immediately saw my sister. Luckily she wasn't busy. She could work on Delilah' s hair right away.
"Hey Ruth!" I called.
She looked up from her magazine, and her face brightened. She bounded over to me engulfing me in a large hug, completely ignoring Delilah. I quickly returned the hug, and buried my face in her hair.
"Hey Liam. I missed you, haven't seen you in a while." She gushed.
"It's really great to see you Ruth. Do you think you could do something for me?" I asked her hopefully.
"Anything for my little brother. What can I do for you?" She asked me cheerily.
"Well we are trying to give Delilah here a new look, and you were the first person that came to my mind for the job. So will you?"
"Well, I think I could do something with her hair. Delilah is your hair up in a braid all the time?"
"Yeah I do. Why? Is that a bad thing?" She asked nervously.
"Oh no it's not. It's just that, well it looks like you could be taking more care of your hair. I also think you could do something different with your hair every day."
"Oh, well I guess I could try something."
"Okay good. Well let's go do something with your hair. See if I can't make your hair look nicer."
Then Ruth took Delilah to her work space. As they walked away I found myself looking at Delilah' s bum. Man, that is hot. So is she. Man let me tap that. WHOA!!!! Shut up brain. Keep it together Liam. I guess all I have to do now is wait for my lady. Oh man, this is going to be harder than I thought.
Delilah' s P.O.V
"Alright come on love, take a seat and let me do what I do best." Ruth said to me.
I have to admit that I'm a little nervous. I've never been to a hair salon before. I did as Ruth told me to do and I took a seat.
"So, what are you going to exactly do with my hair? I know it sounds kinda lame, but I'm kind of nervous. I've never been to a hair salon before."
"Oh sweetheart, it'll be just fine. If you listen to me you will be okay." She said comfortingly.
I nervously nodded, and I realized that she never answered my first question.
"Like I asked before, what are you going to do to my hair?"
"Well, first I'm going to take your braid out and brush all the knots out."
She slowly started untangling my braid, and grabbed a brush. When my braid was out she started to brush my hair. The brush was tugging and pulling at my hair so I couldn't help but to let out a small yelp of pain.
"Oops, sorry if this hurts. These knots are really big, and its going to be difficult. I just need you to work with me. Okay?"
I nodded and she continued. As she continued to brush my hair, tears started to prick at my eyes. I couldn't help but let one fall. I felt the small tear slowly run down my cheek.
