Take me home

"C'mon Laila let's go, Cameron, Nash, Matt and Shawn will be there too!" Maggie insisted while sitting on my bed.
She wanted me to go with her to a party, I hate parties.
"I hate parties Maggie, stop asking me."
"Nothing is gonna happen I'll be there with you!"
I was sure she wouldn't be with me, she drinks a lot and I would be alone in a house full of drunk people.

"Please Laila, it's just a party!"
"Ok ok but just stop screaming"
"Great, let's get dressed."

I chose a skinny short black dress and I lend Maggie a really cute grey top and black shorts.
"Nash is going to take us there" she said hanging the phone to call him.
"Ok"

When we finally arrived, we met the other guys in front of the house but Shawn wasn't there. I didn't ask about him because I was so disgusted by his behavior at school: he kissed 3 girls in the same day and got into a fight with a boy older than him. So him not being there was a good thing.

We entered in the house, it was really crowded. The smell of smoke was everywhere, it was disgusting because I HATE THE SMELL OF CIGARETTES.

"Drink" Maggie said
"What is this?"
"Just some beer, c'mon".
"No way, I'm not gonna drink that."
"You are so annoying".

After 20 minutes I couldn't breath inside that house, there were a lot of people and most of them were smoking.
I was waiting for Maggie to come back from the bathroom but she was taking so long. The house was really big and I couldn't find her so I went to the garden and sat down resting my back against a cold wall. There was no one there, it was so peaceful.
I regretted coming to this party, I knew it would happen.
I grab my phone and try to call Maggie but she doesn't answer. I didn't have the number of the other guys so yeah, I was completely alone.

It was a really nice evening, summer was about to finish but the weather was perfect, so I enjoyed the fresh wing.
Suddenly I saw something moving behind the threes so I quickly got up and tried to go inside the house again but someone grabbed my arm.

"Don't touch me!" I screamed
But when I turned around to look, it was Shawn. He was wearing a dark grey t-shirt and black jeans.
"Stop screaming like a little girl"
"What's wrong with you?" I said confused
"Calm down" he said laughing .
"Can you let go of my arm please?"
"What if I don't?" He said seriously
"I'm gonna punch you."
"Hahaha sure"
I really tried to punch him but he grabbed both of my arms and blocked me between his arms and his chest. His arms are really muscled and his cologne was sooo good.
"Ok enough, tell me what do you want" I said
"What are you doing here alone Laila?"
I was surprised he actually knew my name since he didn't even look at me when I was at school.
"I can't find Maggie and I really want to go home".
"I can take you"
"Haha what? I don't even know you" I said laughing awkwardly.
"I won't let you stay here alone, this party is not for girls like you."
"Girls like me? What's wrong with me?"
"Too innocent"
"That's why you want to take me home?, because I'm innocent?"
"If you prefer stay here all night, it's Okɑy" he said, walking away from me.
"Take me home" I said a bit nervous.
He smirked.
