The first day at my new school was nothing exciting. I had to repeat my name many times. I never noticed how complex my name is. Growing up in such a town where everyone knew you since birth certainly didn't help me with today at all.

"No, not Kelly- Kelsi!"

"Not Shelly- Kelsi!"

"What kind of a name is Elsi? My name is Kelsi!"

You name it i heard it. But i did make lots if friends. People thought my New Jersey accent was adorable and most people tried to imitate it. As i got on the bus i saw Harry sitting in the same seat. I sat in the seat the the left of his, i had no intention of being made fun of now. He looked around as if scanning the crowds for someone. As his eyes reached me, he jumped. Did I look that bad?

"Oh! Hey! why are you sitting over there?" he questioned with a look of puzzlement on his face.

"You weren't exactly thrilled to see me this morning, no need to rip off the band-aid so soon." I say with an overly harsh tone. It wasn't meant to sound that rude, but by the look on his face, i got the message across.

"Come on! you know you want to..." he draws out the last word and strokes the emptiness of the seat beside him.

I giggle like a little school girl- and my face turns a deep crimson. Why does he have this effect on me? I mean he is REALLY hot and all but still...

I finally give in after i see the doors close and the bus driver takes her seat. I slide over and no one seems to have noticed, not even Harry. He turns around slowly with a smirk plastered across his face.

"Welcome." he states flatly.

"Thank you? i dont know what you think your doing, but its not working." if he thinks I'm gonna date him after one day, he's crazy. I hope he doesn't think that

"I was just trying to make friends." he says and pairs his innocent words with perhaps the cutest shrug i have seen in my life

Wait-what?!

Did i really just say that?

Maybe i do have feelings for the curly haired boy.

"Well, then i guess its ok to be friends." i say.

"Do you know what the term 'friend' implies?"

"No...what?"

"It implies that we hang out. at each others house." He adds the last part because he can see the obvious confusion on my face.

"Okay...?" i say, still puzzled.

"Lets start today. Im coming home with you."

What the heck? Not to say i don't want him to. He's in some of my classes, and i could use some homework help, so i shakily agree. What is this curly haired boy trying to do?
