NEW YEARS SPECIAL ONESHOT!! part I

So because it's new year I decided to make a special oneshot ^-^

So I got nothing much to say so let's start!

~a few years ago~

I was alone at home waiting for mom and dad to come home. Today they wanted to go to the New Years festival near the lake! I'm so excited cause mom and dad are always at work.

*ring*

Oh the telephone!
"Hello? This is (y/n) who are you ? "

"Oh so you are mr. and mrs.(l/n) san's daughter right?"

"Ehm y-yes."

"I'm really sorry to say this but your parent... they got into a car crash. Your mother is in a critical situation and mind not make it at least she have to stay in the hospital very long.
And your dad died because of the impact.
I'm really sorry for your lost."

Why

You  promised me we would go to the festival together.

I felt my eyes getting teary.

"We called your aunt she will come and look after you. "

"When can I see mom?" My voice cracked as I spoke.

"She hasn't woke up yet but the hospital will call you."

I needed time for myself now.

"Thanks sir."
I ended the call and sank down now sitting on the floor.
My small thin arms hang to my side my eyes cold and emotionless. Tears streamed down my cheeks they just keep falling.

~Time skip~
After that day I've become cold I didn't show any emotions. I ignored everyone I wanted to distance myself from everyone. Because of that I started to wear my glasses again to only focused on my studys and I tied my hair so they won't bother me. I didn't want to cut them though because mom liked my (h/c) hair. (Just image you have long hair in this oneshot)

I looked very plain too so won't get attention.
My aunt looked after me for the first year but got married after that she left me alone again. She only send me money every month so I can live.

Yep that's how my life went until the day mom woke up.
I got a call from the hospital. For the first time since the accident I was happy I smiled while I rushed over to the hospital.

"Hello I'm (l/n) (y/n) I got a call that my mother woke up."

"Ah yes room 27 on the first floor."

I ran to the room and stopped in front of the hospital room. I took a deep breath and smiled as I walked in.
I saw my mother looking outside the window.
"Hello mum."
I said smiling as my eyes got teary.

She turned to look at me and smiled a bit.
