My phone rang
A private number
"Hello"
"Are you alone?"
"Who is this?"
"Answer my question!"
"Yes I am alone now answer my question"
The person hung up.
It may sounds stupid but I was scared.
I got up From my bed and walked over to the window.
Nobody there
What did I expect?
A man in a black suit?
My stomach started to make noises
I haven't eaten anything for the past two days
I tried but I couldn't
The lump in my throat got in the way
In the kitchen I just had bread left
It felt good to have something in my stomach after two days
The doorbell rang
To be honest I still wasn't ready to see or to talk to anybody
It rang again
And again
After about two minutes nonstop ringing I decided to check
So I opened the door
A huge man stood in front of me.
"Lauren Marrow?", He said with a deep voice.
I nodded
"This is a letter from your father he is in big trouble, and you should read this"
I was a little confused.
And scared
I took the letter and the man left.
I didn't want to open it
At that moment I didn't know how my life is going to change because of that letter
