I walked into the room to find my mom lying dead on the floor. I knew from that day on that I was finally free. My sister came running into the room, seeing the blood splattered across the dresser. "What happened!" she yelled with big years swelling up in her eyes. I looked for a moment and glared back at her. " Today we are free children." I said sternly. She ran out of the room and went to call 911. Suddenly I found myself running after her, slapping the phone right out of her hand. Instead I lied to her and said " Mom is fine, she's just well not feeling well right now." After that I said "Let's go for a walk." I took her hand and led her out the door. I looked back at the house and knew that would be the last time I would be there. We walked for about an hour, and not a word came from either one of us.
My sister, Annabelle got very thirsty and needed a drink, we found a small gas station to go into to. I let her go and pick out what she wanted. While walking through the candy isle, I bumped into someone and nearly fell. I noticed the big hands grabbing me and helping me back up. I flipped my head and saw his beautiful face. He had thick black hair, blue eyes the color of the ocean, and the most wonderful smile. "Are you alright there?" he said. Blushing I say "I'm fine." I could feel my face turning bright red. "What's your name?". No words could explain my feelings it was like love at first sight. "Hello are you still in there?" the boy said. "What?". "I asked what your name was." "Oh my name, it's Tessa, Tessa Baker.". "Mine is Will." I stated into his blue, blue eyes. "Oh well I better get going. See you around." Wow I thought my first love. My sister was ready with her snapple tea in one hand. The cashier said it would cost 2.00, I only had 50 cents! I tried to explain that I didn't have enough to my sister and told her to just pick out the water. Will came up behind me and said "I'll take off this for you." He paid for the tea, what a nice man.
