ITS BEEN NOW A WEEK since the incident with Chris.

He hasn't tried to talk to Ellinor even once. And for once she was glad he didn't.

It was easier that way.

Now at least no one would look at her like a stranger or whisper things that she'll never hear about her.

She knew she made the right choice, but for some reason she felt guilty.

Ellinor felt as if she had been too harsh on him, maybe he was just looking out for her.

She shrugged of the idea as quickly as it came.

No he didn't care, he cheated and he was just trying to make her his next victim.

She sighed and walked up to the school.

And as soon as she did she saw Isak walk up to her.

"Okay first off I wanna say that you're my idol okay?! NOW second how the hell did you manage to make Chris go mia?" He said dumbfounded.

How the hell did he find out?

"Isak, how did you find out?" Ellinor knew she didn't answer his question but she wanted to know how he knew that information.

"It's everywhere in the school, no one knows where it came from tho."

Ellinor closed her eyes and groaned.

"Great," she mumbled and rubbed her forehead.

Only two people knew about it, and unless someone she didn't know was still there other than Nikolai, then it had to be one of the two who told everyone.

"I'm sorry but I mean it's kinda great that you put him in place," Isak shrugged.

Ellinor started walking and Isak followed.

As she neared Nikolai, she noticed he didn't seem to be the happiest.

"Nikolai," she said.

He looked over and her, and Jasper who was with Nikolai went quiet.

"Yes?"

"Are you the one telling around that Chris and I fought?" She said hoping he would say it's not him.

"It's not me, I don't know who it was but I wouldn't be surprised if it was him who did before he disappeared."

Ellie frowned and walked away.
Isak still following her.

She was clouded by thoughts.

It wasn't Nikolai and if Chris went mia then there was a small chance it was him.
Therefore someone else was most likely there at the moment of their fight.

All those thoughts hurt her head, so she walked up the infirmary where she was given a pill for her headache.

By now Isak had stopped following her and was now in his first class, or at least he should be.

Ellinor was about to walk out when the nurse called her back.

"Try not to stress over whatever is bothering you," she smiled.

Ellie nodded, smiled back, and walked out of the infirmary.

She dragged herself throughout the rest of the day. Ignoring whatever remark the people around her had to say.

It just wasn't worth it.

But as soon as she had free period and went to talk to the girls, they all looked at her strangely.

Especially Sana.

"I thought I told you to hook up with him, not have him go mia," she rolled her eyes.

Ellinor's blood was boiling at this point, Sana had no self respect at the moment. It was quite infuriating.

"What can I say, I'm not gonna let a guy tell me what I should do with my life. Especially someone like Chris, he deserved what he got."

Everyone went quiet.
Sana was glaring but not as much as earlier.

Ellinor rolled her eyes and decided she was not wanted there.

She caught glimpse of Jonas and Isak together so she decided it would be nice to go say hello.

"Hey Jonas," She smiled and sat down with them.

"Hey Ellinor, whats up?" he asked.

Well aside from being worshipped for something she did and not knowing how people find out in the first place, not much.

"Just people spreading stuff again," she sighed.

"Yeah I heard about that," he said looking at the ground.

Isak then stood up and hugged her.

It was random and she stiffened at first but then she hugged him back.
It felt nice to be hugged, and Isak's hugs were great.

"Thank you," Ellie mumbled in the crook of his neck.

She felt him smile and she let go of him slowly.

At the moment it seemed as if the only people who cared, are the ones she barely knew.

And for her it was Isak.
