*I started to panic again. The room began to darken once more. I walked around but the shoes caused me to keep falling over. I couldn't remove them. The snickering was still gliding with the air current in the room. Darkness hovered above me, closing in on me, and seemed to steal the air from my lungs.

I tripped over a piece of glass and fell directly onto another shard. The pain was agonizing. I still didn't understand why the pain was from inside, but not to be revealed in a cut or gash. The insides of my legs began to rush with energy. The pain tightened its grip from the inside out. I screamed.

The cackle hovered over me. I could feel it staring into my soul, worse than when my own eyes had only moments earlier. It traveled this way and that, making the pounding in my head even harder. The pain rushed through me as if it were a race against time. My knees gave way. The cackle still haunted.

Before I knew it, I was down on the hardwood floor holding my ears tight against my head. I heard screaming. I heard the terrorizing laugh of the invisible. What was happening to me? My eyes started to glow in the dim closet. In front of me, I could see the pale red color shining against the glass of the shattered capsule.

Everywhere I looked, the red glow reflected off of anything the light touched. My knees were still locked and I couldn't rise to my feet. I instead crawled through the darkness, my eyes pale red headlights. The glass that spread across the floor started to get smaller and smaller. The pain started to decrease.

I finally reached the wall with the window. Darkness was deeply draining any source of light. All that glittered were my eyes. My knees still ached and my head continued to throb uncontrollably. I used every ounce of strength my small body carried and hoisted myself up to the window.

My legs trembled as I stood. I didn't know how long I had until I was destined to crumble again. My eyes shifted from my shakiness to the small window. Fog creeped and crawled against the outside. Wind started singing loudly, although it was a sad lullaby.

Between the dense fog, I could just make out the outline of a forest. To the left,

is what looked like a city. Tall buildings rested here and there. Where was I? Thunder started to clap and lightning started to strike as I fell to the floor once more, landing on another piece of glass. I was lost.

I tried to retrace my steps. Being at home. Seeing the glow. The freefall. Somewhere along those events, I was brought here. I was transformed here. Did fairies really exists? They must, if I am one now. I started to get scared again. I've never been so panicked.

In the darkness I could see something from behind me. Something was shining. I picked up a piece of glass and looked at my reflection. My wings were started to glow, the silver sparkling. The closet was too small to take flight, and I knew I had to escape. With my legs still shaking, I assembled my body.

Then, a rush of chilled air was thrown against my chest. The cackle was back once more. I needed to get out fast. But what choice did I have? Nothing came to mind. But then I remembered. I did what I had done with the capsule. I braced myself, punched the window, and flew.*
