My alarm clock went off. I reached over and hit my alarm off. I hated getting up for school! I pulled off my blanket and tripped as I got out of bed. "Stupid Gravity." I mumbled to myself as I saw myself in the mirror. I had terrible bed head, and dark circles under my eyes. I shouldn't have stayed up so late last night watching Dallas Wayde music videos and being on Instagram.

I hopped into the shower and got out in less than 5 minutes. I got dressed in my soccer jersey and my shorts, ready for our after school game and practice today. Tomorrow is basketball, then after that volleyball.

I decided to wear my hair up in a high ponytail with a grey headband. I brushed my hair out and then put it up. Once I finished with that, I put on my makeup and then walked out.

"ABBY! SYDNEY IS HERE!" I heard my mom call from downstairs. Sydney is my best friend sense kindergarten. "I'LL BE RIGHT DOWN!" I replied.

I grabbed my backpack and soccer bag and headed downstairs. "Hey Sydney!" I said, giving her a hug before I headed over to putting on my shoes. "Still not fully ready huh?" she asked. "Shut up! I was, but I didn't eat breakfast. We could stop and get something on the way to school." I said. "Fine," she replied, clearly annoyed, "but we aren't going to be late for school this time because we are not getting Starbucks!"

"So, what would you do if I said somebody you really liked was coming to our school today?" Sydney said. She always has the surprises. Last time she said this, it was Rodger Saffold from the Rams football team. We live in Illinois, but our families moved to Texas this year and we're still trying to break in the warm weather.

"Who is it this time?! IS IT SOMEBODY FROM THE COWBOYS OR THE MAVERICKS?!" I shouted, causing everybody to stare at us at the bus stop. "Geese, Abby! Fan girl much?!" I saw mine and Sydney's boyfriend walk up. "Hi Logan!" I said, giving him a hug. "Hey!" he said with a chuckle. "I wasn't screaming because I was being a fan girl. Sydney is hiding something from me and won't tell me!" I said with a chuckle and crossed my arms. "It's a surprise! You'll find out when we get to school!" Sydney said. "Is it about- LOGAN! SHUT UP!" CJ, Sydney's boyfriend interrupted. "Ohh!" Logan said, finally getting the picture. "So he's coming to first hour?" CJ said, just as the bus pulled up.
