Just When You Think Everything is Okay...

Adrian started abusing the fact that he could summon a wizard at will. He had him make food, do laundry, and even clean the house. Sure, he was always annoyed when given orders, but always followed them for some reason. Adrian had been getting tons of texts from his phone, courtesy of Omni. She would never stop checking on the teenager's safety, if he had actually responded to every text, he would not get any sleep. The next day he made his way to school, a substitute teacher this time. " This is crazy, I'm in a huge tournament to the death and I only have one person on my side, but there's something about her that I don't like " Adrian thought.

After Class ended Adrian walked over to Omni. " Can we talk " Adrian said.
" I'm sorry but this might not be a good time, I'm going to be late for gym " Omni replied, exiting the room.
A woman wearing blue overalls and two blue pigtails, walked over to him. She was older than Adrian despite her childish look. " Hey, I'm trying to find the teacher's lounge, any help? " The woman said.
" I'm trying to find answers about that killer, poor guy...his predictions couldn't save him " She continued staring at Adrian.
" Dead end , number one " The woman continued.
Omni charged at the woman in overalls, attempting to punch her. The woman did a cartwheel and avoided the attack. " My name is Hera, but you might as well call me 9 " She said giggling.
She jumped out the window. " BARBAROS! NOW! " The girl yelled.
Beast King Barabaros charged through the school, killing all in his path. The two barely survived. " I-I'm going to die " Adrian said.
" We are going to survive this! Now stop complaining " Omni said.
The two began to crawl through the area, trying to stay out of the crazy woman's sight. ' Barbaros charges through class 3-A. ' is what the text read. Omni looked at the class next to them, she grabbed Adrian and lunged away from it. Barabaros crashed through the classroom and into other parts of the school. " You have to pay more attention to your texts! " Omni said.
" He's going to charge down the hallway " Adrian said as the two rushed up the stairs.
Barbaros charged down the hallway and then up the stairs, causing the two to fall into another classroom below them. " Are you alright? " Omni said, lending him his hand.
" Yeah...I think " Adrian said.
" I got a plan, I can tell what happens to you with my texts, and you know what happens in general, so, if we use both of our predictions we can be unstoppable " Omni explained.
" What worries me is why his death is scheduled for 2:o5. Why that specific time.." Omni thought.

" We've got snipers on the rooftops, everyone is in position " A policeman said.
" Send them back Tide " The chief replied.
" I beg your pardon Finn " Tide said.
" Hera has the bombs set to go off when her heart stops beating, if we kill her, we kill everyone else " Finn explained.
Finn looked at his texts, and smiled.

Omni and Adrian continued crawling through the school. " If we can get to the other building, we have a better chance of surviving " Omni said.
" I don't feel comfortable, this place is too quiet " Adrian thought.

As they got to the other building, Adrian rushed towards his fellow students. Only to be pinned down along with Omni.

Some Time Before

" Deliver Adrian to me, and nobody gets hurt, okay.  " Hera said.

Adrian was brought outside by his classmates. At the feet of Hera. " Looks like you couldn't depend on your own peers, you really are pathetic " Hera said.
" This is the end for you, Number one " Hera continued.
" And what an unfitting name that is " Hera added.

Omni was forced to watch as Hera was about to kill Adrian. She told him he would have better chances of survival if we went over here. " I must protect Adrian, especially after these people made a liar of me, I have no choice " Omni thought to herself.
Jinzo appeared and beat the two holding Omni senselessly. He carried Omni through the hallways as Barbaros chased them.
Finn fired a warning shot at Hera. And looked at Adrian. " You okay kid? " He asked.
" Do I know you? " Adrian asked.
The man had blonde hair and blue eyes. " This isn't any of your business Number 4 " Hera said.
" Your here for me, not him " Finn said.
" If you shoot me, everyone's going to mosey their way down to hell! " Hera said as Finn held his gun.
He pointed it at Adrian. " It's nothing personal, she's got me between a rock and a hard place, if anything, I'll have nightmares about this day for the rest of my life " Finn said with a nonchalant tone.
Jinzo punched through the wall and grabbed Hera and threw her to the ground. Finn pointed his gun towards Hera, and Adrian ran towards Hera's duel disk. Hera grabbed it quickly. The red dark magician appeared. " Dark Magic Attack! " Adrian yelled.
The blast missed the duel disk, and hit the left region of her face, causing severe burns and leaving the woman with one eye. Barbaros appeared and grabbed her, and they both escaped.

" Those other duelists are going to be all over you kids, because they think your weak, but use that assumption as your advantage " Finn said.
" I think we should all work together, like a duelist alliance or something corny like that " Finn added.
" I'm in! " Adrian replied.
" Sure..." Omni said
" Right after we get betrayed by the entire student body, I'm not trusting anyone except Adrian " Omni thought.
