"Hey mom, since dad is working late and you need to pack for the business trip tomorrow, can I go to Adriana's for the night?" I asked my mom.

My parents never really cared about where I went as long as I told them.

"There's no school tomorrow so sure. Be careful!" My mom said.

"Will there be any boys?" she questioned.

"Just Adriana's boyfriend, Aaron and his friend." I replied cautiously. I wonder what she might know.

"Okay but always remember to use protection if you are doing anything."

"Uh no, but I know, don't have to worry about anything like that. Thanks mom, love you". I ran upstairs to start getting ready for later.

If anything were to happen with Nick, I wouldn't take it as far as to have to use one.

I looked at the clock. It was only 3:00 so I had an ample amount of time to shower.

--

I stepped out of the cold shower. I looked into the mirror to see my thick blonde hair dripping wet.  I had light green eyes and defined eyebrows.  My body was well defined and there was no denying.  I ran everyday and always watched what I ate.  But I'm not a fitness or beauty guru so it's not like I don't ever eat desserts. No one can ever turn down chocolate. Or maybe that's just an imaginary law that just applies to me.

I walked outside feeling the cool air hit my skin. I quickly grabbed my towel and wrapped it around my body. I hate that feeling of cold air after a warm shower. But the warmth of a towel is always a friend.

Rummaging through my closet, I picked out a pair of red short shorts, a black top, and matching colored under garments. I didn't sleep with a bra on at home but since I was going out I picked out I thicker shirt for my pajamas and a pair of shorts and a baggy top.

I dried off my hair and put my things in my bag.  My hair was naturally curly like beach waves on a summer day.

I grabbed my phone to see Adriana's text.

Be ready in 5 minutes ;)

I couldn't believe I made out with Nick at that party. He was the school's golden boy, the bad boy, the player. And I was going to see him again. His deep blue eyes, slick dark hair, and rock hard abs were only a few features that made every girl in our high school swoon all over him.

Sure I was a bit nervous, but that didn't matter.  He probably didn't even remember my name.

Reminder to self, never drink too much . . . Even a sprite . . .

I took a deep breath and swung my bag over my shoulder and ran downstairs. I slipped on my shoes and went outside to see Adriana in her car making out with Aaron.  Adriana had been through many boyfriends and wasn't afraid to make out with them in public.  I the only public displays of affection I've ever shown were holding hands or a light peck on the lips.  If only you could see these two now.

"Hey Adriana, hey Aaron." I greeted them as I hopped into the car.  I placed my bag in my lap and went through the zippers to make sure I didn't forget anything.

I paused for a moment before coughing ,"AHEM."

"Oh right sorry Jen" she chuckled as we drove off to her house.
