Chapter 19

I

I woke up still naked from last night. The blankets were hanging unto me like a toga. I gave a great yawn and got myself up from my dismantled bed. Every single time we had sex, I would regret it because of that bed.

I got up, letting the blanket fall gracefully on the floor, and letting my nudeness be unashamed from the world. It felt nice to be naked. I headed to the restroom, and went quickly into the shower, closing up the curtains behind me. I didn't take my usual long shower because I needed to get to school still.

After cleaning up the mess in and around my body, I got dressed and ready to face another exhausting day at school. I wonder what Damian has in store for Adrian's little stunt. I pray it ain't much.

"Good morning, beautiful." Adrian greeted me as soon as I put my body outside my room. I gave him a warm smile, and walked past him.

"No time today, mom." I said to her walking to the door. " We are a bit late. Aren't we, Adrian?"

"ARENT WE?" I emphasized to get his attention even more. I got it by his immediate face change from one of question to one of excitement.

"Yes...yes we are!" He said, grabbing his keys quickly to go to school.

I followed right behind him as he rushed his way to the car. He looked like an excited kid knowing that his birthday party is actually a surprise birthday party. I giggled to myself as I walked up to his car slowly and got inside.

I clicked on my seatbelt, and so did my Adrian, and waited for the car to move. It didn't of course, which really caught me off guard. "Why the hell aren't we moving?"

"Well...I got your drift... So... What now?" He looked at me with eyes still filled with joy. His hands were placed on the steering wheel, though.

"Turn on your little car and drive." I told him, smirking at my almost dark remarks to him. I did have something, though, I just needed to get a bit far away.

He turned on the car, and drive eagerly through the streets to head to school. I placed my head on his lap as he drove.

"I chose." I said to Peter who was standing under the tree we usually talk by. He looked at me confused for a moment, so I had to clear his mind once more; I couldn't believe he was so forgetful. "Adrian? Damian?"

"Oh!" He finally realized and smiled with glee. "So, who did you choose?" He smirked while getting real close to my body.

"You know whom." I backed away feeling a bit uncomfortable.

"Eeee!"He screamed in the most obnoxious voice. That was also my queue to leave and never be seen with him again. "You chose Adrian!"

"No, duh." I was walking away from the tree, Peter following right behind me, and was heading to my class, even though the bell didn't ring.

"C'mon Augustus. Tell me more!" He quickly caught up to my side. He was really to excited.

"You already know everything. Now, stop hassling me, I've got other things to worry about." I slowly left him with his joy, and headed to class.

III

Chemistry came. And with chemistry, so did Damian.

I walked down to my lab seat hoping Damian wasn't there. I couldn't handle him now. Especially after what Adrian did yesterday. I felt to embarrassed to be seen. I also felt that maybe, just maybe, if I sat down first, all the problems seemed very far away. But unlike the dreams I've had lately, this one wasn't answered. Damian was sitting at his desk, looking straight at the board. I felt forgotten, until I sat down.

"I'm not going to do anything." Damian said quietly as I sat down at my chair. I was caught if guard by his solemn tone. It sort if made me feel scared and pity. But I couldn't let pity take me again into the wormhole.

"Tell you're boyfriend that he has won." He added. "But remember," he looked at me with the most intense look," the moment that your boyfriend fails, I will be right behind you to pick you up to my side of the town. Just remember."

I gulped at that thought. A few days ago , I was carefree to who I chose, and felt like everything was just a play. But when Damian said that, I felt almost a bit scared to fall, or to even let Adrian fall.

I looked back up front, watching as the teacher adjusted his way to get ready to teach.

The whole period was bit of a change. We were both quiet, and we both did our work that day.

I might end this story in a few more chapters. But don't worry about it ending completely, because I still have ideas for two books for this story.
