Dear Daisy,

I never understood why you would always say you were ugly, unlovable.

You were the most beautiful that girl I have ever seen.

I loved the way your long hair would flow down your back, like sunshine pouring down after a rainy day.

I loved how your eyes would shine, I loved how I could stare at them for days.

I loved how you would laugh, throwing your head back, a smile etched upon your glowing face. You would always look so sincere, genuine, happy.

If you told me what you were masking under the happiness and the smiles, maybe things would be different.

Love,

E
