Alexandra POV
I'm putting books in my locker when I see a big lavender purple color envelope with my name written on it in cursive. I'm confused about seeing it and I take it and it smells, like lavender. It's a good smell and I open the envelope and seeing pictures of me when I was a little girl, but from a far with my parents as if the person was watching me. Then a letter, I look at it reading it in my head

Dear Alexandra,

I have been watching you since you were a baby and these pictures are proof. We can't meet yet because I haven't returned to town. Your sister Elena wants to find out her birth parents since she found out that she was adopted and I know you do too. I know her birth parents too and Katherine who everyone is looking for, especially your boyfriend Damon Salvatore who has waited 145 years for her only to find out she doesn't care about him. Poor Damon. Alexa trust me when you find out the truth about who your birth parents are your going to feel so much better.  I know that there are no records about your birth, but that's because I have them. I wanted it to be me who tells you the news about your birth parents.  I can't let the Salvatores find out and tell you I'm so sorry that there's nothing for you to hold on to, but I promise that you will find out. I'll see you soon, Alexandra, can't wait to meet you

I sigh before putting the pictures and letter back in the envelope and putting the envelope in my bag before closing my locker and I turn to walk away when I bump into someone

"sorry" I said and look to see Tyler

"no it was my bad. Sorry" he said

"why is it that we keep bumping into each other? is that our thing?" I asked and laugh

we both laugh "I guess so" he said

"so how you been?" I asked

"good, and you?" he said

"good" I said

"hey I'm actually hoping to run into you because I wanted to ask you if you wanted to hang out tonight?" he said

"yeah I would like that" I said and smiled at him

"great see you tonight" he said

"alright" I said and smiled before walking away from him "bye" I said

"Bye" he said

It would be nice to hang out with Tyler, he's a good friend and I'm over my feelings for him.

Elena POV
Stefan and I are talking by the lockers

"Damon hasn't said a word to me. Every time I try to talk to him he shuts me down" he said

"Do you think he's still trying to find Katherine?" I asked

"I don't know. He waited a hundred and forty-five years only to find out that Katherine could not care less. I mean it's gotta hurt, right?" he said

"And it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy" I said sarcastically

"You have every reason to be upset with him. Have you thought any more about what you're going to do?" he said

"About what? Isobel, my vampire birth mother, who's related to my vampire ancestor Katherine, who screwed over your vampire brother? Nah...I haven't thought about it at all" I said

"I'm sorry I brought it up" he said

"I'm more concerned about Alex. She doesn't anything about her birth parents, there's no clue. Jenna doesn't anything she said. I know Alex must be feeling down, sad because she can't find anything on her parents. I wish there was something for her to know at least" I said
