Lance's POV

Science is my first class,I wonder if Keith is in my class.

Keith.

There's a billion reasons why that name brings me so much joy,I think it's because I like him,but that's overrated since our chests haven't glowed yet...wait a second,we haven't even made physical contact! Maybe that's why we didn't glow.

Okay,here's the goal for today: try to make physical contact with Keith.

I enter my science class,it's filled with chatters of conversations,I think my ears are bleeding from how loud this room is,oh my gosh is that Keith! My thoughts become blank,he's sitting there looking so timid,and he has a ponytail and glasses!!!! MY HEART CAN'T TAKE THIS!!!!

Keith's POV

I look to where the entrance is,and I spot a certain tanned boy,"Hey,Lance!" I waved my hand in the air,signaling for Lance to sit with me.

He had a blush on his face why does he blush every time we meet each other?

Lance's POV

I sit next to Keith and smile,but I did a very stupid thing,"Keith,do you think we could be soulmates?" After I asked that his cute smile immediately turned into a frown,"I-I don't think it'll be me." He mumbled,looking away from me,"Well,w-" I was cut off from a loud shout,"I THINK YOU DEServe someone else." Keith's voice became harsh and cold,cold enough to make my spine shiver all the way down,I didn't want to make the situation worse,so I kept my mouth shut.

The rest of science had a tense atmosphere with me and Keith.

Next I had math,I thought Keith would like to walk with me,"Hey Keith..." I trailed off my sentence as Keith ran away from me.

I enter the math room and guess who I saw,Keith,but he was sitting with someone else someone who looks a little annoyed sitting Keith. Why is he so mad?

Math wasn't as great without Keith,I felt alone like no one was around me,my heart is broken into dust,my eyes became blurry with tears,stay strong Lance,stay strong.

After math it was ELA,this time I walked by myself with no one by my side,more like that certain someone by my side.

As I enter the room I see two friendly faces,Hunk and Pidge,"Hey guys!" I greeted with glee,"Hey,Lance! How's it going?" Hunk asked with a warm smile,like Keith's,"Do you know what's wrong with Keith?" They both look at each other,"What do you mean?" Pidge asked in confusion,"OkayImayhavementionedaboutusbeingsoulmatesandhedidnottakethattoowellnowIthinkhesmadatmewhatdoIdo!" My words stumble on top of each other,"It has something to do...with his past." Pidge looks down.

Flashback

Keith used to be a very cheery boy he would always greet everyone with a handshake just to see if they were his soulmate,but to no avail,but he kept his hopes high until the incident.
