Death's callin.

The day started out just like any other day I spent the day with my boyfriend Iann. Lucky me didn't have to share him either. My parents were in love with the way he treated me and adored him. I'm pretty sure If i didn't know any better they love him more than me. We drove down the road and pulled to the red light just up a head as he looked over and saw a new store. " I know what we're gonna do!" he exclaimed as he got into the merging lane and went right to where I knew he'd go. He's a sucker for shopping and new things. I adored him.
We got out of the car and went inside the new store called Evergreens toll. " That's an interesting name." I stated not knowing what it meant.  I shook my head to get the weird feeling off me. " You OK babe? Hey what's wrong?" he was beside me before I could walk two steps. " I'm OK. Don't worry about me. I said and grabbed his hand as we walked into the store. ' just a headache that's all." 

He looked over at me with a look, and started browsing. " hey I'll leave you over here I'm going to look for some pants." I kissed his cheek and walked over and went thru some before finding a perfect pair. all black with a blue tint. I smiled knowing what would go great with this.  My phone buzzed and I immediately thought of my mom cuz I know how she gets when i spend to much time with him alone. That's funny I don't know a 'Verace'  defiantly sounded familiar. I looked over at Iann who had almost a whole cart full of things. " Iann why must you buy the whole store?" I asked cheekly shaking my head and trying to find more pants.  " I don't understand how you don't like shopping yet here we are."  I rolled my eyes and turned around looking at another pair that where almost the same as the one I had on my arm but a whole lot lighter. " someone's happy." he stated right behind me. "Iann what are you doing?"  " nothing he breathed out on to my neck. " OH no you don't mister. I ran around the store trying to get away from him. " OK OK I give up. I'm paying for these but I am starving. We gotta go somewhere to eat before i die.

I looked over at his gullible face and laughed when he tightened his jaw which he knows gets to me. I was in a daze looking at him come up beside me and grabbing my stuff from my arms I snapped out of it and grabbed them back from him. " um no I have mony moron I can pay for myself."    He groaned out and whispered in my ear. " Fine but I'm paying for dinner!" he kissed my neck and quickly got into another line as I quickly paid for my two new pairs of pants.

" You are so beautiful! he dronned out staring at me before putting a piece of steak in his mouth. i smiled and continued with my food as I stole another piece of steak from his plate ' hey Missy no, You have your own food you eat yours. " I pouted and ate my grilled chicken with a side of Mac & cheese and another side of a salad. " yours looks more delicious. " I pouted again. " so are you." he winked and I groaned in annoyance and blushed.

my phone buzzed twice before looking down at it. 'VERACE ..don't let that boyfriend of yours say to much."
  I looked up and then looked at the message from mom and groaned. CAN YOU PLEASE GET YOUR BROTHER?
"I forgot it's my sisters birthday today." he looked sad and I put my hand on his.  " Hey it's ok you forgot I'm pretty sure she'll understand. Maybe y'all can hang out tom-  " Kari she's dead."  My eyes widened and I immediately felt bad. 'Verace would never let me forget and now I can't remind myself.  I shifted in my seat as my eyes widened.

" hey Iann look at me. It's OK, I'm here for you. I'm sorry I feel so bad now, I shouldn't have said anything." I mentally slapped myself.  After several minutes he breathed in and let it out. " check!"  I asked the lady  Iann still looked sad but that didn't stop him from opening the car door for me. " hey it'll get better." I hugged him and he pulled me closer to him and groaned out. " God I want you so bad right now." I giggled and kissed him as I let go and got into the car.

" Hey you're taking me home right?"  he looked over at me and looked at me with a smirky face.  " yes love."
" If it's OK can we get my brother from work real quick?"  " yeah that's fine."    

He turned into the Jack's parking lot and pulled to the other side as my tall brother walked towards us and got in the back of the car.  " someone went shopping." he stated and got comfortable. " Well we didn't just shop. we went to see his mom and dad. We went fishing with his older brother had lunch with his family and then went shopping. We also just got done eating. " 
" You went shopping since when do you shop?"  He looked very surprised and looked over at Iann then at me again " how did you get her to shop?"  he asked very interested. O my God, Why is that so hard to understand?"  I groaned out. While they spoke and looked out the window at the view my phone buzzed again and i quickly answered my mom before she got worried.. when we got to the house. I said my good bye's and kissed him goodnight.

Later that night I found myself tossing and turning I couldn't sleep and the text messages creeped me out even more than anything. When I finally got some rest I had a nightmare about his sister 'Verace. How did she die again? I asked myself. Iann never told me and I defiantly didn't want to ask him.  The only thing I knew was they were close and I didn't want to upset him even more.  My phone buzzed and I immediately answered seeing Ian's name on the screen. " Babe hey I know I probably woke you and I'm sorry but I just wanted to say good morning and that I miss you so bad right now. I'm heading to work but I'll see you later I love you so much!"
I smiled as I looked at the time before gapping out 6am. " O my God I've barley slept.

Thankfully I had been able to sleep with no nightmares. "Kari!" UGH my mom always yells. I quickly got up and went to find my mom before she starts yelling again. " what?" my mom was making food. I guess for all us kids I mentally laughed usually she makes us cook if we're hungry. " You got a package from Iann."   I got excited and had  seen that it was already opened. " mom seriously?"
" Flowers, aw that was sweet."
" There's a note from the flowers on the table behind you. Are y'all doing OK?" I ignored my mom and read the note.

      Hey Love just noticed yesterday you were not really doing well, just hope these flowers put you in a good mood. I love you. It's not you're fault i just forget some things."        

I scrunched my eyebrows and signed in frustration and knew what he as talking about. Should I show him the messages?"

What should I do? I smiled remembering that there were flowers in my hands. After putting it in a vase I took it to my room. My sister and I had our own room and my brothers both had to share. My mom and dad also shared a room. My room was a soft blue and gray color while my sister had a pink and gray room. Taking my flowers to my desk I picked up the phone only to see a message from 'Verace. 

I couldn't deal with it anymore i finally texted back. "Who is this? I don't know you and i'm pretty sure this is a prank because his sister is dead, so whoever this is can stop!"

" i'M NOT DEAD. I don't know why he said I was but i'm alive!"  my face went pale, an my eyes widened. Why would he lie about her being dead?
I sent that message to her and waited forever for her to text back but she never did. Maybe it was a prank.

Later that night after my sister left to hang out with her fiance. Iann had picked me up. " Finally I can breathe."
" Really love you, What about me I can't?" He laughed as he pulled out of our driveway and down the road. " Where are we going?" I asked having that weird feeling again creep up on me.  " I need to let loose I know there's a party downtown. Wanna Go?" He asked looking at me and grabbing my hand. " Sure why not."
