**Scott POV**
Mitch and I are going over to Kirstie's today so he can apologize for everything he had her put up with when we broke up.

I know he feels horrible for all of it.

Kirstie and Mitch have been best friends as long as we have been best friends.

Best friends shouldn't fight or stop talking to each other or put them through crazy bullshit like Mitch did.

I just want them to make amends before we go back into the studio to record our next album.

"I hope she forgives me." Mitch says.

"She will, Mitchie. Don't worry." I say rubbing his thigh for comfort.

"Strictly platonic, Scottie." Mitch says removing my hand from his leg.

"Oh sorry. Just a habit of mine I guess." I say putting my hand back on the steering wheel.

"It's okay. I understand." He says looking back out the window.

This whole 'platonic' thing is going to be hard to get use to.

**Mitch POV**
I don't know why I said we are strictly platonic, because that was a big mistake.

I guess I can't change my mind now.

Just going to have to ignore it and get past it no matter how hard it may seem right now.

"We're here." Scott says driving up Kirstie's driveway.

We get out of the car and walk up to the door and of course Scott makes me knock on the door so the first person she'll see is me.

"Hey, kirst." I say with a small smile.

"Hello." She says.

"Umm...Mitch came to tell you something." Scott says.

Kirstie nods and waits for me to speak up.

"I'm sorry for all the stuff I've put you through the last few months. I shouldn't have had you deal with all my bullshit about Scott. It wasn't right of me and I'm sorry." I say looking to her for a response.

She was silent for a moment before she looked up at me with a smile on her face.

"I love you too much to stay mad at you, mitchie." She says hugging me.

"Are you two okay now?" Scott asks.

"Yes we are." Kirstie says.

She invites us in and asks us the question of if Scott and I are okay now.

"Scott and I are strictly platonic." I say.

"Oh yeah? Let's see how long that lasts." She says laughing.

Same, sis. Same.
