And when I woke up again, I mentally killed myself. I was still in the room. Jackass was still sitting there. I don't know what he wanted. He was watching me while I was out. What the hell is even happening? What the hell does he even want from me? I didn't know what the numbers were for. I needed to know where Sam was.
"Tell me the last hunt you had with your brother." Jackass spoke up.
I nodded. I dug in into my memories as I looked for the hunt I had with Sam. And when it came to me, I told him.
"Sam and I were browsing through the Internet, looking for any strange deaths or unexplained deaths. Anything that was out of the ordinary." I began.
~
"Find anything?" I asked Sam.
I took another swing from the beer. I looked at Sam and he shook his head. He leaned back on the chair and stretched out his arms. I sighed as set my feet up on the wooden table and leaned on my chair. We were in the bunker. Sam sat across from me. And there was nothing to do. For the past month, there was nothing. No murders, disappearances, deaths, suicides, accidents or a thing that was out of the ordinary.
I looked at the ceiling with my hands behind my head. I was bored and confused at the same time. How come there was nothing? Did the monsters just get bored or something?
"What do you think this is? Did the monsters just got bored?" Sam chuckled slightly.
I looked at him and shrugged.
"Maybe. We don't even know." I said, looking at my laptop.
Sam sighed and drank his beer. He typed in something on his laptop.
"Wait a second, there's something." He spoke up.
I looked up at him and his eyebrows were furrowed and his eyes were moving as he read something from his screen. He raised his eyebrows and his eyes moved up from his laptop and to me.
"A man from Ohio, got missing two weeks before his wedding. He was with some friends, hanging out in some bar. Having a good time, obviously." Sam said.
"That doesn't sound like a case." I spoke up.
Sam shrugged and stayed quiet as he continued to read the article. I rested my head back on my hands behind my head. I closed my eyes and exhaled. It took Sam about two minutes until he spoke up again.
"One of the grooms friends said that the groom was going to the washroom to take a piss and when he went into the restroom, he never came out. And when he went to check why was the groom was taking so long, there was no one the room. The windows in the restroom were locked. The best man never saw the groom again. The groom has been missing for about almost three weeks now." Sam finished.
I thought about it for a minute, looking around the room. We've been here for a month and there was absolutely nothing to do. I mean, we could leave and detour all we wanted but Crowely looking for us was probably our least concerns right now. We all know that he won't be able to catch us.
I clapped my hands together as loud as I could that made Sam startled and jump in his chair.
"Looks like we have a case." I chirped, "I'll meet you in the car in ten."
