Early in the morning and Amber’s dad called her
“Princess” her dad said through the phone
“What is it dad? Is there something wrong?” by the tone of her dad, she can sense that there’s something wrong
“No, it’s nothing but I really need you to come home, it’s about our business partners, they wanted to meet you”
She agreed with a meeting and she needs to be there at exactly two days, she wasn’t sure of what the meeting was all about but she’s sure that her dad needs her.
After talking to her dad, she prepared breakfast for Kianna and took her to school then she went to her office where she found Kim
“Good morning Amber!” her cousin greeted
“Good morning” she said “I’m going to go to Manila on Wednesday”
“Why? What’s wrong?” Kim asked “It’s about dad’s business partners” she replied
“Oh I bet they wanna see you, and introduce you to their sons” Kim said laughing
“Sorry but they need to deal with me first” they heard and by the tone of that voice, Amber knows that it’s Mark
“Hey there love!” she greeted and kissed him on the cheeks
“What is it about your dad’s business partners?” Mark asked
“Uhm, probably about business, he called me this morning asking me to go home for a month or so”
“What? A month? But I’ll miss you, and you won’t be here for our concert” Mark acting hurt and trying to persuade Amber not to stay in Manila for a long time.
“Love, you survived 5 months waiting for me and I think a month waiting for my answer to say yes to be your girlfriend, a month is not that long” she said caressing Mark’s face
“Uhm excuse me, before you guys start to get lovey dovey and all, I’ll go outside to give you some privacy” Kim said
They both laughed and the two got back to their serious talk
“Can I come with you then?” Mark asked
Amber shook her head and said “No can do, love you’re preparing for your concert right? And mind you, you’ll be going away for a while too, because it’s not just a concert here in Seoul but you have a world tour as well, and you’ll be gone for about 3 to 4 months”
“Remind me why I chose a wise girlfriend? I can’t even make you agree with me even with my aegyos” and Mark did an aegyo, they both laughed again
“Love just remember this, even though we’re oceans, rivers or mountains apart, you’re always here in my heart”
“Why is my Amber so cheesy?” he teased and he earned a punch from Amber and they both went out to help Kim
After two days Amber is back in Manila, she missed the place, she decided to take a cab from the airport to their house and when she arrived, she was greeted with her mom’s warm smile, and if ever you’re wondering what happened to Kianna, well Amber left Kianna because she’s studying and she’s staying at their uncle’, so let’s go back to Manila
“How’s South Korea baby?” her mom asked
“Well it’s still beautiful as always and that city never fails to amuse me with its beauty” she replied
“I think you’ve fallen in love with South Korea that you’ve forgotten us here in Manila” her mom said
“Are you mad at me for not calling you for a month?” Amber hugged her mom, yes she forgot to call her mom for a month because their business in South Korea is getting bigger and she was busy on how to have a second branch of their café and stuffs
