It was only a kiss

     So today at café in the city, I had this basic conversation with my bestie that started something like this..."'Has he noticed me yet' I asked my best friend, Stephanie.  Stephanie glanced over at Ricky, the quarter back for my high school, and shook her head no.  'Why don't you just go talk to him?  It's not like you aren't attractive.' she spoke out as if it wasn't something she had said a billion ca-trillion times to me."  Wait, I should probably tell you who I am right?

     I am Mia. I'm a 17 year old senior in high school and today was my two days before my senior year! Since I've always been a goody two shoes I've decided to keep this journal all senior year and make this year the best!  And just to prove I'm too good, I have one sentence for you, I AM A VIRGIN!  Some might say that's great but in high school that's lame!  I'm going to make the best of my last high school year and I'm going to have my little journal here to keep track of everything that goes on.

     Basically I just want to be normal.  I'm so tired of staying home to study instead of going to wild parties and getting stoned then boned.  I plan to be that girl this year so tomorrow, we go shopping!  Shit my mom is pulling in the drive way, I'll write later but I gotta get this make up off my face before she kills me.

     Okay, I'm back. You see, my dad left my mom for a model in Paris, France, so any make up, fancy clothes, or heals are a "fuck no" in her words. I particularly don't cuss by the way because once again, you have a goody two shoes on your hands. But..I plan on not being a goody so let the cussing begin. Wow I really suck at this.
