Avengers 2

Prologue

     There was air rushing through my lungs, my heart pounding against my chest. I could hear his feet pounding against the pavement, every step going one by one. Street lights passing me by quicker than before, every second counts I couldn't stop now. The sweat beading down my forehead, my breath coming out heavy. I could hear his footsteps coming closer and closer. The rain pouring down on the both of us and time had seemed as if it's slowed down.
     "I'm sorry please let me go, I won't do it again," I yelled as I was trying to catch my breath. A deep but soft voice yelled back
     "No!"
     I turn around to see the blue red and white stripes going in a circle around a star, it was his shield. He had it by his side and if by any chance he decided to throw it at me this would be the end.
     It was 3 a.m. rain pouring and pavement pounding. The more I ran the closer the end of the alleyway came to be. I had no choice, I had to jump the fence. I hesitated at first, but I knew if he were to catch me bad things would happen. So I jumped anyways and as I was hopping over top the fence the barbed wire sliced through a piece of my skin. It felt like needles poking at me non-Stop as if a knife cut my skin. When I landed on top of a crate on the other side of the fence, I could feel the blood starting to trickle down the side of my pant leg. The impact had to be the hardest part, it felt like a million needles stabbing into my leg all over again.
     I kept running and running until I finally decided to look back. He was gone, disappeared, in my head I thought  he might have taken a shortcut. I hesitated to keep moving forward, but as I looked in front of me I realized the worst. He was right in front of me, and I was charging towards him. I tried stopping in my tracks, but it was too late he started running towards me and once again I could feel my heart beating, faster than ever. I tried running away, but I was too slow and he finally caught up to me. Before I knew it he punched me in the face knocking me out cold and after that everything went black.
