Lunch Time
Library

So, Eris is a self-centered girl whom thinks that the world revolves around her and went ballistic; throws a golden apple in the middle of the banquet just because she wasn't invited to the wedding. So a war erupted just because the most beautiful girl is kidnapped.

Now, that's what you call fucked up.

"Eris, there are plenty of weddings to attend to." I mutter, flipping to another page.

Advance reading is usually my source of hobby. Being the one that is ahead is probably better than to keep the same pace as everybody else. I have ten minutes until the warning bell rings. Good thing that the library is deserted.

As I was about to flip to another page, I wince as something heavy lands on my other hand. I curse not-so silently and gripped my hand in pain.

"I am so sorry." A girl says with a smile. A freaking smile. "May I sit here?" She asks, but nonetheless takes it without waiting for my answer. She took the book that landed on my hand.

I slightly scoot away in uncomfortableness.

"I'm Jieun." She says, her whole body facing me.

"Uh, I'm Min-S-"

"I know." She crosses her legs. "You're the new student." She states.

I nod, not knowing how to answer her. I turn back to my book and continue to read uncomfortably. She keeps on staring without saying anything.

Until!

She forcefully closes my book, receiving another treatment.

"How's life hogging my boys?" She asks with a glare.

"What?" I hiss, annoyed by the fact that she isn't even apologizing.

"I know what you're doing."

My right eyebrow raises in astonishment. Hogging? Her boys? What am I doing?

Then the thought hit me. I nod to no one in particular, coming to a conclusion that she's just another crazed fan. I was about to leave until someone forcefully pushed me back to my seat. I look up and see new comers. Probably her disciples.

I take a deep breath and convince myself that I am talking to a gold-fish. Gold-fish are nice. Gold fishes die. Yes, that's right.

She nears me. "You're going to leave them alone. Do you understand me?" She whispers with a sweet smile.

And here I thought that this school had no funny business. Great. First day into my senior year and I'm already making enemies. Fantastically fantastic!

Well, fuck it.

"Why don't you make me?" I say, matching her smile.

"Oh, I will."

The girls behind me seconds her, giving me some nudges and pokes.

I quickly stand up, letting the chair fall. "I'd like to see you try." I whisper.

She fumes. Before she could grab my swollen hand, we hear a groan.

"My God! Can you frogs take your business elsewhere?"

My head whips to the table behind us. One of my classmates is lying on the row of chairs. It seems like we had woke him up.

"This is not a place for petty arguments." He proclaims and yawns.

"This isn't exactly the place for sleeping either." I find myself answering.
