"You are looking stunning, sweetheart," Kishore Agarwal, CEO of Agarwal's Automobile, said to his only daughter, Sanyukta, while entering her room.
Sanyukta stood up from her chair and, turning in the direction of the voice, she smiled brightly.
"You don't have to ask for their opinion," he explained.
"Dad, not everyone in this world has your eyes; that's why I need other people's suggestions," she replied back with a teasing smile, and Kishore frowned at her words.
"Okay then! If you are done, the car is waiting for us. Can we go?" he asked, and arching an eyebrow, Sanyukta replied, "Let's go, Dad. I am all done."
Sanyukta stepped forward when Kishore held her back. "Sanyukta," he whispered, which made her feet stop. "Guys, you may leave," she addressed the beautician and designers to leave.
Kishore silently sat on the nearby couch, and Sanyukta grabbed a seat next to him. "It will be fine," she said to console her thoughtful father. "I just wish everything goes according to our plan," Kishore replied, taking a deep breath. Holding her father's hand and giving him hopes, they walked to the car.
They reached the place soon. Sanyukta stepped out of the car in royal style with her red dress flowing down, sweeping the floor as she took big steps towards the party hall.
"Miss, this way," the man spoke as he opened the door for her, which buzzed with voices of people. Sweet music of the piano rolled by, mixing with the clatter of glasses and talks of the people. She felt eyes on her, and the smiles told her that they admired her.
Kishore proudly walked to the center of the hall, and even before he had spoken the first word on the mic he held, people were already beginning to shush.
"You all know why we are gathered here today, and the few who don't, let me tell you. We are here to celebrate the success of Sanyukta. As she has taken the company to the third position, I have decided to hand it over to her, and today I officially announce her as the CEO of Agarwal's Automobile," he pointed his glass to her, and immediately a round of applause thundered around the room.
"Come on up here, sweetheart. Tell these people how to do business."
After Sanyukta was done with the speech, everyone applauded once again, and soon the mic was taken by Kishore.
"Thank you, Sanyukta, for sharing your experiences, but let me announce something more." A small smile formed on someone standing very close to the stage.
"May I call you on the stage?" Kishore asked that very particular guy, and Sanyukta smiled at him.
Kishore gave Sanyukta's hand to him. "I am giving you a piece of my heart, Aryan; you better handle it with lots of care and love," he spoke with tears of happiness.
"Your piece made my incomplete heart a perfect complete heart," Aryan spoke, to which Sanyukta smiled in agreement.

As she was walking down the hallways, she caught sight of him. "Did someone just cat-call me?" she thought to herself. Grabbing the upper part of her arm, someone pulled her away and pinned her to the nearest wall. His black suit curved perfectly on his muscular frame, and his eyes seemed to be darker than ever. Sanyukta felt embarrassed; she moved here and there, but he immediately interlocked his fingers with hers. She yanked her hand away, but his grip was too firm, and soon he closed the distance between them and stated with a smirk, "You are only mine."
Before Sanyukta could decipher the situation, she heard someone calling her, and to her dismay, the person in front of her eyes disappeared exactly the way he had appeared.
