Alfie's POV
It was the next morning and I told Zoe I was going to see my family when actually I was going to see hers.I was going to ask them if I could propose to Zoe.When I got there I was a little. bit nervous but I knew if they said yes this would be the best day of my life.So I started the conversation:
(Zoe's parents=ZP Alfie=A)
A:Hi guys
ZP:Hi Alfie where's Zoe
A:I told her I was going to my house so she's at home,I'm here to ask you guys something
ZP:Sure what is it
A:I'm planning on proposing to Zoe and I wanted to ask if that's ok
ZO:Sure it is you guys are perfect for each other
A:Thank you guys I've been waiting for this all my life,I was scared in case you would say no but thanks again
ZP:No problem it's fine
A:Byeee
ZP:Wait have you got the ring
A:Yes I have
ZP:Ok I was just making sure byee
A:Byee
Alfie's POV
I just arrived home and then I phoned poppy to see if she was busy,she said she wasn't so I asked if she could take Zoe to town for a but so I could organise what I needed to do,she said yes so I told Zoe.Zoe said she'd love to go out so it was sorted Poppy is on her way now so she'll be here soon.
Zoe's POV
I'm going out with Poppy to town to get some clothes and do some shopping.I get ready the Poppy's here so I go.
Alfie's POV
Zoe's home now so it's time for me to start preparing.I go and get all the stuff I bought for this and started to get it ready.I had fairy lights and I hung them up almost everywhere I put Zoe's favourite candles everywhere and lit them.Then I did the roses,I laid them out as a trail upstairs and into our bedroom when they were in the bedroom I formed a heart shape with them.Then I decided to get ready I put on my best suit and then I put a note at the beginning of the trail saying "Follow the trail of roses for a surprise."The Poppy texted me saying that they were on there way and they were almost here so then I stood in the heart of roses the ring in my pocket and waited.
Zoe's POV
I walked in the door and saw lots of beautiful fairy lights and some amazing candles then I found a note I read it and it said Follow the roses for a surprise so that's what I did.I got to the end of the trail and there was Alfie in a suit standing in a rose shaped heart.I looked at him I think I know what was happening then Alfie started talking.Zoe I love you so much and I have been waiting a long time for this day but I think today is the day.He got down on his knees and said Zoe Elizabeth Sugg will you marry me.I was shocked but also amazed I started crying with happiness and then I managed to get it out I said yes and then Alfie put the ring in my finger and it was beautiful.Then Alfie reached in for a kiss and it was the best day of my life.
