I walked down the street listening to my iPod I hated how I acted but you can understand mum was never there I enter a singing contest once and mum left on the day of the contest I hated it everyone else Mum was there even Becca’s mum came and she had an meeting that day she still made it honestly I think my mum has other family somewhere I walked down to the park and sat on the swing I stopped listening to my iPod and got up again and went to phone James so he can take me to see Nathan and just my luck my iPhone ran out of battery
“This isn’t your day is it?” I looked around that the voice and saw a man who looked in his 20s with dark brown hair and blue eyes
“Sorry do I know you”
“No you don’t but I know you Katie McGuiness”
“How did you know my name?”
“Oh your cute I can see why he has fallen for you”
“Are you Oliver?”
“Oh Nathan told you about me” he came closer to me as I took a step back
“Aww how cute the vampire hunter is scared of me that is a first”
“I’m not a vampire hunter”
“Oh you might have Nathan fooled but don’t me so just steak me” I looked at him then ran out the park but he was fast and ended up he was in fort of me
“Oh you are very good at acting you should get an Oscar”

“Sure you’re not” I felt my body freeze I couldn’t move but then I got idea maybe if I do what my brother did last night and get him to get Nathan was kept saying over and over again James help get Nathan Oliver face turn like Nathan’s did went he prove he was a vampire as Oliver was about bite in to my neck someone pushed him I looked over to see Nathan then saw James with a cross blow pointing at Oliver. Oliver got up
“See Nathan he has a cross blow he is a slayer”
“Yeah but I give him the cross blow”
“What why did you do that”
“So he can kill you, you see his Instinct only kicks in when his sister is in danger and only want to kill the vampire who is trying to kill his sister”
“Oh well” then he knocked the cross blow out of James hands and run up to him and was choking him Nathan tired to help can but Oliver got him too damn it what I’m going to then I saw the cross blow and got idea I ran to and hit Oliver in the back he let go of them then I felt something inside me telling me to kill Oliver he was on the ground I stood over him
“So you do have the slayer in you but I don’t understand why haven’t you tired to kill Nathan yet”
“That because he never tried to kill anyone I love but you did so you much die” I don’t know why I said that I think that was my slayer side talking then I stood him right in the heart he was dead then I was back to normal
“Sis that was badass”
“Thanks James” I looked over at Nathan I hope he is not scared of me
“So it looks like your slayer instinct only come on went someone you love is in danger”
“Yeah I guess”
“Let’s get you to my house”
“Ok Nathan”
“Hey Nathan is it ok if Katie stay at your house tonight her and mum got in a fight”
“Sure that’s fine” wow James much trust Nathan a lot normally if a guy gives me the wrong look he would hit them we got to my house and ran up to my room and packed a overnight bag and got downstairs and saw mum looking pissed off
“And where do you think you’re going”
“To a friend’s house”
“No you are not”
“Mum just let her she need time to relax”
“No I want to spend time with her”
“Mum I’m going I will come home tomorrow and then we can talk”
“Ok fine” I walked with James in to his car and left and got to Nathan’s house
“Well see you tomorrow James”
“Ok sis see you tomorrow” I got out the car and walked up to Nathan’s house and knocked on the door and I was greeted with a kiss on my lips....
