Have you ever had that one doll that you never played with after you got her? My younger sister got a doll for Christmas 2 years ago. She just sits underneath her bed in a blue wooden box.

When she first got her, she named her Ari. She was a porcelain doll with wide blue eyes. The off putting part about her was het mouth.

Her tongue was licking the side of her mouth.

"Isn't that weird?" I asked. She nodded but continued playing with her. When it was bed time she put Ari back in her box and slid it underneath her bed.

Since then she hasn't played with, but I have an underlying suspicion that the doll is NOT happy about that.

I woke up about 2 months ago and could clearly see her standing on my chest. I pretended to be asleep. After a while I dozed off again and when I woke up she was gone.

I checked the box and saw her neatly placed in there the way that my sister had left. I was puzzled.

Last night my sister kept having night terrors. When she woke up this morning she said that Ari was getting in her head.

My parents didn't believe her, but I reassured her that I did. Right now it is evening time. I am up in the attic working on a school project.

My sister comes up to where I am in the attic. She is acting weird.

"Hey sis, what do you need?" I ask casually, actually really nervous right now.

She smiles deviously and pulls out my Mom's filleting knife.

"Your soul!" she says and throws the knife at me. It hits me in between the eyes, and I am knocked out of the swivel chair I was in and am laying on the floor.

My sister then stands over me and rips the knife out of my head. Everything is starting to get fuzzy now.

"Dear brother, how stupid you are for believing me. Ari hasn't been 'messing with my head'. She and I are one. Now I will fool our par-"

I never heard the last bit because all went black after that. I was alone in the darkness.
