A Night To Remember

Chapter 2

"Have a safe night" said the lady that gave us two KitKats and gum each. "Thank you very much!" little bug said with such enthusiasm. She had three bags full of candy, though I don't know how, we have only been to 6 houses and all the candy I got was not even half a bag full.

   "I wanna go home bailey." little bug said with fright. "What's wrong little bug it seemed like you were having a great time?" She looked at me then looked at a man in a bright red and black costume. "That guy scares me" she whispered. "Sweetie he's just wearing a costume. She didn't say anything more, but nudged me and we started walking home. The man in the bright red and black costume stared at us as we walked past him. He had a scar next to his left eye and was blind in the other eye. His stare seemed so cold as ice.

    After walking for over half an hour I was starting to get hungry so I decided to eat my candy early. "Bailey where are we?" little bug asked with such confusion. It was dark outside and the street lights were about to go out. "We should be home in about 5minutes" I told Abby with uncertainty of accually knowing. We came to cross roads, do I walk straight? Turn left? Or maybe its right? I decided to take a guess and turn right. Approaching the end of the road closer and closer and closer. There was a spark of light at the very end with a faint shadowed black color. Getting closer and closer, I realized it was the man in the bright red and black costume.
