"Mom stop you're embarrassing me!"
The windshield wipers are going back and forth, the rain is hitting the windshield hard. All I can see is the illumination of the the headlights on the dark road.
"Oh stop it, I'm your mom. I'm supposed to tease you. And besides this is the big date with Josh, you know he probably going to propose. This is exciting stuff."
I roll my eyes and squint, it's getting harder and harder to see.
"Mom that's not true, and I don't even know what is going to happen"
I look over at her.
"Mom"
Two head lights come into focus.
"Mom look out!"
