Maddie pov.
I woke pretty tired so I just put on a pair of joggers and a shirt. After that i put on my sliders. I hope We don't do anything. I went downstairs and made some food for myself, sometimes the girls just drink milk and then their full. I walked upstairs and see the girls asleep. I didn't really want to wake them up, but it was already 10. Hey, girls time to wake up. I said walking to one of them at a time. Mommy, I'm tired. Jackie said. Do you feel good? I asked a little worried. She shook her head. Ok baby girl. Do you want anything? Just lay down and tell me. I said. I want chocolate milk. She said. I nodded. Zoey you ok? I asked looking at her. Yea. She said before walking Over to me and Jackie. Is sissy ok? She asked looking at Jackie. Yea. I said. I packed a bag for Jackie and than one for Zoey, time to go see my mom again. I left them by the door before going to get Jackie a bottle of milk. After it was heated I went back and gave it to her before going to my room to pack a small bag also. I had to call lily and then jack, to let them know. I dressed the girls in some pants and then a t-shit. I put on their favorite shoes, since Jackie doesn't feel good and Zoey is worried about Jackie. Come on girls. I said opening their door. Where are we going mommy? Zoey asked. Going to see Somebody important. I said. I put on her book bag so she can carry it. I walked over to Jackie putting on hers. Ok girls, wait in the living room, gotta do some things. I said carrying Jackie and Zoey downstairs. They nodded once I put them down they sat on the couch. I walking into the kitchen grabbing my lap top buying plane tickets. I grabbed my phone texting Lily to let her know she said ok, but theirs a ton of things I have to do after I get back, I didn't really care. I called jack after finding him ten minutes in my contacts.

Me🙉- nothing, just need to tell you something, are you busy?
Jack💀- ok what's up?
Me🙉- I'm going back to Nebraska.
Jack💀- what?! Why?
Me🙉- I'm coming back, I just need to go back for awhile.
Jack💀- and your taking the girls?
Me🙉- obviously, but I'll only be gone for like a few days.
Jack💀- ok, as long as I get to hear them, or at least get to FaceTime them.

I walked back making sure everything was turned off before going to the living room. Come on girls. I said grabbing them, turning off the tv and then locking the door after we got out. I got the girls inside the car putting on their safety. You girls ready? I asked getting in the car putting on my seat belt. Ya. They said. I pulled started heading to the airport.
~~ 3 hours later ~~
The plane just landed the girls where getting their stuff together. Jackie you still ok? I asked. My stomach hurts. She said. Ok, well we're almost their. I said. She nodded. Can you make it? I asked. I think so. She said. Ok but tell me if it gets worse, stay with mommy you got it? I asked both of them. Yes mommy. They said. I carried Jackie, walking with Zoey in front of me. I called in uber once we were out of the plane. Making sure Zoey was still with me. And she was. The uber was a few minutes away from the airport so I had to get my stuff quick. Once I did we walked out of the airport. The girls were still beside me. Ok girls get in the car. I said opening it. They got in i kept the door open watching the guy put in my bag. I got in right beside Zoey. I looked at Jackie, she didn't look so good. I gave him the direction which was only a few minutes away. He drove us to my mom house before getting off. The guy drove off, before I heard a door open, I looked at the door and saw my mom. Come on girls time to meet some people. I said. Grabbing their small hands. Maddie? My mom asked, covering her mouth. Mom. I said. Your so grown. She said, hugging me. I know. I said hugging back. Where have you been? We've been trying to contact you. She said pulling away. In Californian, but I want you to meet someone. I said bringing my girls forward. Who are these? My mom asked. They are my kids, Zoey and Jackie. I said side hugging them. How long? She asked. Well let's go inside. My mom said. I nodded. I picked up the girls carrying them inside. Everything is the same, your room is the same. Um... right I'm still with your step-Dad. She said. Really?! I thought you would've left with Dad and never remember about me. I said. Let's forget Dad ever came into our lives. She said smiling. I nodded. So I came back so you could look at Jackie. She's never been sick and I was worried about her. I said Making my voice shake. Of course, it's probably nothing major honey. My mom said. She said her stomach hurt and then when we were on our way she looked weird. I said. Go get Jackie honey. My mom said. My eyes started welling up. I walked to the living room and saw Jackie asleep with Zoey. I went to Jackie waking her up. She looked sick. Come on honey. I said picking her up. She groaned. I carried her to the kitchen where my mom was. Ok sit her in the counter. She said. I sat Jackie down and she groaned. Hey. You never let me sit on the counter. I said. Well that's because your grown up. She said laughing. Mom checked her temperature. 102. My mom mumbled. She has a fever. My mom said. What should I do? I asked. Check her temperature every hour, if it gets to 106, we take her to the doctors. She said. Ok so we wait? I asked. She nodded. What she eat yesterday? She asked.Four apple juice. And two small strawberry smoothie, eggs, and this morning she just drinked chocolate milk, yesterday was I think cereal or the other day. I said. What is she allergic to? She asked. Nothing. I said. Ok, it might just be the fever. She said. I nodded. Let's just give her some medicine. She said getting out a medicine. She handed me it once she filled it up. Ok, Jackie. Your gonna have to take this and drink it. I said putting it towards her mouth. She didn't like it and no kid likes it. But she drinked it before she fell asleep, damn she falls asleep fast. So where's Ange'? I asked. With her boyfriend. She said. Ange' already has a boyfriend? I asked. Ya, what about you? Any boys? She asked. Nope. I haven't since jack. I said. Well then who's the father? She asked. Jack. I said. Oh, u still have feeling for him? She asked. No mom, he has a girlfriend, and I'm happy with just the girls. I said. Well just letting you know theirs more boys here in Omaha and I must add, cute and hot ones. She said. Mom, I'm fine. Jack knows them already. I don't want jack or the girls feeling like their either being replacing someone or they have to love someone and think of them as their father. I said. I'm just saying honey. She said laughing. Well I'm gonna go put Jackie in my room. I said picking her up. Ok honey. She said. I walked upstairs putting her in my room. Zoey, time to eat. I said walking downstairs. Yay! Where's sis? Zoey asked. She's sleeping. I said carrying her to the kitchen. So what does miss Zoey want to eat? I asked. Eggs. She said getting her face closer to mine, then I got closer . Coming right up. I said smiling. She giggled. I made her eggs and served them to her. They still don't know how to use forks or spoons so I let them eat with their hands just because their still little. You need to start teaching her how to use spoons and forks. My mi said. Soon, but for now I'll let them eat with their hands. I said. I remember when you were small, you'd make the worst messes ever. She said laughing. Sure I was. I said. ok don't believe me. She said turning to wash the dishes. Mom you don't have to clean the dishes let me wash them. I said. Honey, your still my baby, so sit next to Zoey and be quiet. She said. I poured. Exactly stop making those faces and maybe I'll let you some time. She said pointing a finger at me. Hey don't point! I said. I can point because I'm your mother. She said. Mommy, I want another one. Zoey said. Ask grandma. I said. Mommy, mom grandma, can I have another one? She asked. No Zoey, she's just grandma. went upstairs, to my room. Mommy. Jackie said crying. What's wrong honey? I asked hugging her. My stomach hurts. She said. Mom! I yelled. My mom came running in. Her stomach hurts. I said. Ok, let's take her to the hospital. My mom said. I picked up Jackie in the blanket running to the car, my mom soon came out with Zoey. We drove to the hospital soon arriving. My mom said to go through the emergency room. What could possibly be happening to her? The doctors took her in after checking her temperature. It was at 108. A doctor ran into the room they took her, my eyes were starting to get watery. Honey, it's ok. My mom said hugging me. I need to call Jack. I said. Daddy? Zoey asked looking at me. Ya, daddy. I said. Yay! Where's Jackie? She'll be excited to see and talk to Dad. Zoey said jumping up and down. She's with the doctor. I said. Am I going with the doctor? She asked. I shook my head. I took my phone out face timing jack. Hi daddy! Zoey said getting her face in the camera. Hi, Zoey, how are you? Jack asked. I'm good, daddy. She said. How's grandma and mom? He asked. Their good, but mommy is crying. She said. Let me talk to mommy. He said, Zoey moved out of the way then jack saw me. Maddie, what's happening? He asked. Jackie. I said. Maddie, what the hell is happening? He asked. Jackie got the fever, and we brought her to the doctors. I said. Maddie, it's probably nothing major. He said. Jack, the doctor literally sprint into the room, they have Jackie in. I said. Maddie just breathe. Jack said. Jack the doctor is coming, hold on. I said looking up, getting up leaving my phone in the chair. Are Jackie mom? He asked. I nodded my head. Ok... Jackie had trouble breathing, we think it could've done something with the fever, heating her lungs, making it hard for her to breathe. He said. But Jackie said her stomach hurt, not her chest. I said. Miss, kids tend to say things that are not the body part. How long had Jackie had this fever? He asked. Just this morning she got it. I said. Ok, well we'll get Jackie checked up get more scans, she could have asthma, which for her age shouldn't have asthma, but if she doesn't now, she'll have problems in the future. He said. Just help my child. I said. We will. He said before walking away. What did they say? Jack said. They said Jackie could have asthma, her fever was hearing her lungs, which made her hard to breathe, but she was breathing right when she went to sleep and when she called my name. I said. Maddie, asthma isn't the worst thing. He said. Ya, but she won't be able to play sports with short breathe. I said. Hey, don't think about that, we still have time. He said. Thanks jack. I said. No problem. He said. Jack! Where are my shoes? A voice in the back said. Which ones? He asked. Converse. She said. Their by my door. He said. You still keep other shoes by the door? I was being shake, when I opened them my mom was In front of me. Jackie. She said. What? What's wrong with Jackie?! I asked worrying. Nothing, she's ok. The doctors said theirs nothing wrong with her, but she'll have asthma problems when she grows up. She said. Have you called jack? I asked. I did but he didn't answer his phone. She said. Ok, thanks, wheres Zoey? I asked. The nurse took her to a bed so she could sleep. She said. Can we go see Jackie? I asked. She nodded her head, I grabbed my stuff together then following my mom. We entered and I saw my baby, laying their. She started opening her eyes, while tears started coming. Mommy? She asked. Oh honey, I'm right here. I said walked to her side hugging her. Mommy, I was scared. She said. It's ok honey, your safe now. I said.
