Chapter 2

Apparently these men have a whole group of people with them. Otis was leaving with that Shane guy to bring supplies for carl the kid. I didn't trust Shane one bit. Before they left I hugged Otis and smiled at him "be careful okay and come home safely I'll take care of us, I love you." I said and he smiled back "love you too, see you guys later." He hugged Patricia and they said their good byes. "Hey sweetie do me a favor and go tell ricks group that they should come here tomorrow, take Maggie with you too." I nodded and walked out of the room. I saw rick outside sitting down" where is your group at." He looked up at me."on the high way straight from the direction we came from." I nodded and Maggie and I went to the stables were we kept the horses. I didn't have a horse only Maggie and Beth did. I just didn't want one . I got on Beth's horse and Maggie took a bat.

  Me and Maggie were going as fast as we could through the woods to reach ricks group. Instead me and Maggie saw a walker on someone in the distance. " I got this one." Maggie said as she went to kill the walker. I followed closely behind her as she hit the biter in the head. Once she did this group came running to the blonde on the floor. "Lori! Lori! Lori grimes!" Maggie said and this brunette lady responded "that's me." "Rick sent me and my sister to tell you there has been an accident carl has been shot, he's still alive but you have to come now!" Lori hesitated "RICK NEEDS YOU, YOU GOTTA COME NOW!" Maggie yelled and Lori took off her back pack and was about to walk towards Maggie. This very handsome man pulled Lori back"we don't know this girl! You can't get on that horse!" He interrupted. She got on with Maggie and I faced the handsome man. "Rick said you had others on the highway? " I gave all of them the direction to the farm and Maggie looked at me and nodded saying to leave. I looked at the man with the piercing blue eyes and he looked at me back. I looked down and headed back towards the farm

Me and Maggie made it to the farm and we put the horse back and headed back to the house. Lori went in with Rick crying and I could tell why, I mean her son was shot. I went straight to my room and laid down. My thoughts were on the handsome man with the striking blue eyes. There was something in his eyes that made me think of the word 'similar'. There was something in his eyes that showed in mine .

Daryls pov
We were back on the highway again and we were talking about plans for tomorrow. It was dark and all I wanted was sleep. I've been looking for that little girl I mean I feel bad for carol but it's her fault. If she was looking out for the girl of hers nothing would have happened. Those grey eyes made me feel something. There was something behind those dark grey eyes of hers. I mean she was pretty cute but no time for that shit in the end of the world. I can't have no weaknesses. I already lost my brother and I don't know where he is but he's alive. I can't let anything pull me down. Not now.

Mallorys pov

Otis wasn't home yet and it was dark. I feel like something happened to them.
Maybe something went wrong. Maybe biters got to them. To get things off my mind I pulled something out of my back pocket it was 3 bracelets with charms. I actually ended up getting three. One for me and one for Maggie and Beth. I walked downstairs and saw Maggie and Beth sitting on the table. "I don't know he was cute tho-" I interrupted them by saying "who was cute?" I walked closer to them and Maggie couldn't stop smiling. "There was one kid in the group he was Asian he was cute to me" Maggie said and I chuckled. I sat down with them and handed them both bracelets. "It's like a best friend thing ya know." They looked up at me and both smiled. "Even got myself one too." I pulled out my wrist with the bracelet. I heard a knock on the door and Maggie got up. "Who could that be" she walked towards the door and opened it. I saw the Asian kid with a black man. Maggie looked back at me and Beth and we gave her winks. She rolled her eyes and talked to them outside. Minutes later they came back in. "Glenn, T-dog this is Mallory and Beth my sisters." I shook their hands and saw that t-dog was hurt."he's not bit or scratched he hurt himself." I nodded and I brought him to one of the rooms to fix him up. "Beth bring me some medical supplies okay?" She nodded and left I sat him down and I saw his wound "oh that's bad, it's infected too." Beth came into the room and gave me supplies to fix him all up. I pressed on his wound with a rag to prevent him to stop bleeding. I put some anti- infected liquid in his wound and he screamed painfully. "It will hurt a bit" I got out a needle and started to sew up his wound. He was in pain I could tell he was. "How do you know what to do?" He asked painfully looking up at me. I chuckled "I was in med school before this shit happened, I graduated early and hershel showed me some stuff." He nodded. Once I finished I helped him up and took him to the dining room where Maggie was making tea. "I'll give you some pills to take to heal faster meanwhile we'll fix you guys something to eat" I said while helping him sit down. I got some pills from the drawers and handed him two. He took them and swallowed them with water. "Thank you so much I appreciate it" I nodded and I washed my hands.
I sat down in the porch outside waiting for Otis to come back home.

    Otis's truck came down the drive way "dad! " he came rushing out with Maggie and Beth. Only Shane came out and my eyes widen "where's Otis?" He looked down and shook his head. My heart fell to my stomach. "We say nothing to Patricia, not now, I need her!" My dad said and walked back into the house. I stayed in my spot. Rick hugged Shane and Shane was crying "there were walkers every where man, he said he'll cover me and to keep going. And that's what I did man I kept going...I looked back and he...he was already caught by the walkers." Shane said. Maggie was crying with Beth and Lori was hugging them. I didn't cry one bit. I can't cry now. I saw straight through Shane's soul and I know he was lying. He lied straight to everyone's face. " yep that's exactly what happened." Everyone looked at me and I walked into the house. This is going to be a long night.
