Beyond Two Souls fanfic

Months Later

It's been about three months ever since I moved into the DPA, It's been a really weird experience but they say it's supposed to help me out.
Which I think is utter nonsense, since the more I worked with controlling Kat, the more stronger she gets.

At the moment I was laying down on the small couch in my room, I was in the middle of thinking of what to do. It was extremely boring when I didn't have experiments so I just sat here. Thinking of things to do, a sigh escaped my lips before sitting up.
I grabbed the remote and tuned on the small Tv, before putting on a movie. Not really caring what it was about.
I leaned against the couch, as I got into the movie. It was easy to tell that it was a horror film, but it was mostly jump scares. Yet I wasn't easily scared.
With that the movie got all tense and all quite...I leaned in as I watched, the door flung open to my room. Which scared me shitless, I jumped and squealed like a little girl.
I looked over to see it was Jodie.

My face turned bright red as I heard Jodie giggling.
"Oops, did I scare you?" She chuckled.
"I uh...of course not!" I said embarrassedly before turning off the Tv.

"Anyways...is there something you need?" I asked.
"Well Nathan said I could go on a walk, with Chloe of course. But do you want to tag along?" She raised a eyebrow at me.
"Yeah sure, let me throw on a jacket."
"I'll see you in the hallway then." She said.
Before heading out of the room.

I stood up and grabbed my jacket before throwing it on and heading out of my room.
I followed Jodie out to the front with Chloe.
It was cold outside but it just felt nice to be outside for once. I took a deep breath and looked around.
"I promise I won't scare you this time." Jodie said with a grin.
I just rolled my eyes and looked down.
"I really do wish we weren't trap inside all the time. Or at least give us something to do." I muttered.
They both looked at me, "Well, I'm sure Nathan wouldn't mind you two hanging out with each other. You two are working together anyways." Chloe said.
I shrugged, "That might be great actually, what do you think Jodie?" I asked. I could hear Kate getting annoyed but I really don't care.
Jodie smiled before replying with a nod.
"Sounds fun." She said.
I smiled before putting my hands in my pockets.

Within a week, Jodie and I hung out every chance we got when we didn't have anything to do.
I'd go over to her room or she'd come over to mine, she had a lot my things in her room compared to mine but she's been here a lot longer then I have. I have no clue how she does it.
Another thing I've been keeping form Jodie is that, my birthday is in a couple days but I don't want to celebrate it.
It's bring back too many memories that I'd rather keep at bay.

I was busy writing a story of my own to keep my boredom on hold, I tapped my feet as I was typing away, I was thinking of a plot twist but I was called into a experiment.
I groaned and got up before heading down the hallway, to Nathan's office.

"Hello William, how are you?" Nathan asked.
"Fine I guess." I said, before taking a seat.
Nathan stood up and set the weird helmet in my head that would take scans of my head.
"Now, the objects in front of you. Tell me if there's any connection to them Alright?" Nathan said.

I nodded before picking up one of the objects, feeling nothing.
I moved to the next one, it gave me a headache but I saw something. It was a little girl holding the watch. Before I heard "Here Kat."
When it was over, my nose was bleeding and I felt completely exhausted.

"William?!" Nathan said.
Before I could answer, I passed out from exhaustion.
I fell to the floor as blood came from my nose,
Nathan was calling for help as I laid on the floor passed out.
