I looked at my husband while he's fixing his coat and tie. After I did his suit, I looked at him and smiled. He smiled back and kissed me on my lips.
"Promise me you'll never leave me," he said and that made me frown. He sat on our bed and tapped his lap, signing me to sit on it. Umupo ako sa kandungan niya and he immediately lean his chin on my shoulder. "Whatever the results may be, promise me you'll stay with me."
What is he saying? Of course, I won't leave you! Idiot!
I let out a chuckle. "What are you thinking? Of course, I won't! I had never left you, Sandro."
I smiled at the thought. I guess he's nervous or something. I held his hands on my stomach as I began to speak again.
"To have and to hold, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer,"
I tapped his arms and shook my head. I stood up before anything happens.
"In sickness and in health," he chuckled before kissing me on my lips. "Get ready. I'll wait you downstairs,"
Today is the very day the board and other persons involved will decide. The La Dieguez family and their companies will have their new chief executive officer. It is my husband, Alexander Lucas, who's the CEO then but because of a sudden pulling out of share from one of the investors, his cousin, Sullivan, took action and was appointed to be the CEO that time. Sandro, on the other hand, in that very hour was out of the country because of his great grandfather's request to by his side before he joins Sandro's great grandmother in paradise.
But his grandmother is insisting that his cousin, Sullivan La Dieguez, will be more of use to be the CEO than Sandro was.
"Daddy will have a big day today," naabutan ko ang aking mag-ama. He's playing with our son while our son is busy playing with his face. I heard them both let out their laughs. Our son is almost two years of age now, still young and carefree.
I walked near them and reached Simon. I kissed his cheeks and forehead.
Hinawakan ni Sandro ang aking kamay ng mahigpit and we started to walk towards his car. I checked our son's things before we drove off to the venue. I've started to get back to work months after I gave birth to our son, kaya namimiss ko siya masyado.
His a little bit curled hair is growing longer and that left me to thought about cutting it. His long black defined and curled eyelashes were visible because of his fair and white skin. He smelled like milk and powder, I let out a chuckle.
I wonder if their whole family will be there. The family is big and I can't help to think that that's the reason why they have to argue about this matter. I mean, yes, maybe they have believed about their own principles that one of them has the capabilities surpassing each other.
