"We've never been on a date." Chen said one day as he walked out of the bathroom, a towel still wrapped around his waist.
Xiumin looked up from his phone, eyes widening slightly as he took in the other boys half naked body. He then focused, looking at Chen with an innocent look, "I guess we haven't."
Chen smirked at him, coming to sit beside Xiumin on the bed and pulled the smaller boy towards him and into a hug. Xiumin fumbled awkwardly for a second, unsure where to put his hands, before he settled for the other boys waist. This is where he would normally place his hands, but Chen audibly gasped as Xiumin's hands landed on his bare skin.
"So what did you have in mind?" Xiumin asked, trying to shift the sudden uncomfortable atmosphere that had spread across the room.
Chen swallowed,"I- I hadn't thought that far."
Xiumin smiled, Chen was nervous? Pulling back slightly Xiumin made eye contact with Chen, smirking slightly as he slid his hands down to Chen's hips. Chen went red under Xiumin's gaze, holding his breath as Xiumin leant their foreheads together, "Good thing I have. Get dressed and meet me at the bus stop at 10."
Xiumin stood and left the room, leaving Chen to flop across Xiumin's now empty bed with a groan. The other boy was such a tease. He'd created a monster.
At exactly 10:03, Chen approached the bus stop where Xiumin stood. The smaller smiled when he saw his boyfriend, and Chen smiled back, taking Xiumin's hand and tucking their now entangled hands in the pocket of his coat.
"When does the bus get here?" Chen asked.
"About 5 minutes."
"What are we doing?"
Xiumin shook his head, shivering in the cold wind and stepping closer to Chen. His smile however didn't falter, "That is a surprise, Dae."
Xiumin had started calling him Dae about a week before, and Chen hadn't liked it to begin with. However, now he was getting used to it, and it was much better than Jongdae; everyone called him Chen. Anyway, he liked the way Xiumin's voice sounded as he said the new nickname.
Chen sighed, releasing Xiumin's hand as he let out a loud shiver, and decided to wrap an arm around Xiumin to warm him up slightly until the bus arrived.

"I don't like surprises." Chen said as they were sat on the bus together.
"That's too bad." Xiumin said, checking out the window to see how far they were from their stop.
"Can you not just tell me?"
"No."
Defeated Chen slid an arm around his smaller boyfriend, resting his head on Xiumin's shoulder, and soon Xiumin's hand came up, stroking his hair.

The two boys entered a cosy cafe together, Xiumin immediately dragging Chen to his favourite seat by the window.
"The usual?" The barista called and Xiumin laughed at Chen's surprised face before looking over to the counter,
"Yes please, MJ. Dae, what would you like?"
Mystified by Xiumin's sudden confidence, Chen ordered a hot chocolate, and watched as his boyfriend went up to the counter to pay and collect the tray with their drinks on. It wasn't until Xiumin shoved a cupcake in his open mouth, that Chen focused on the smaller,
"Do you come hear a lot?" Chen asked, placing the cupcake on a plate.
Xiumin nodded, reaching forward to brush a crumb off Chen's chin,"Yeah. ASTRO cafe is my one of my favourite places. I come here a lot to study."
