Lupe leaned back onto Rouge's bed sighing as his children piled on top of his chest.

"Oh no mister, you cant just stop the story right there!" Bleu scolded, pulling on his dad's ears.  Lupe jerked upward and smirked, grabbing his son from around the waist and pulling him in for a death hug.  Gasping for air he crawled away from the much stronger man.

"Alright, fine, I guess we have a few hours anyways..." Lupe mumbled staring down at his watch.

"Okay, so since not much happened awhile after that ill skip ahead mmmh, two months-"

I slowly sat up in my bed and looked around my pitch black room, two months...two months since eternal darkness set upon my village, depriving us from the light we so desired.  Feeling the shadows stirring around me I quick leaned over to click on my redstone lamp, its warm, dull glow emitted throughout my room.  Realizing my light would most likely disturb the other villagers, I got up from my warm cotton mattress and drew the deep blue curtains.  I took a hand and lifted up the corner a tiny bit to stare at the glorious black sky that never left.   Ever since the darkness took over my home town we have discovered two other moons that orbit our planet.  They were never sought out before because the time they are visible is during the day when the blue sky made them hard to see.  Sighing and dropping the corner of the drapes back down I tiptoed to my bed once again and grabbed the redstone torch I hid in my bedside table.  stealthily maneuvering my way out of my bedroom door and down the hallway I crossed the bridge that connected the bedrooms to the kitchen.  I snatched up a armful of apples and gathered them in a leather satchel, dragging the full bag to the front door.  I slipped on my black rubber galoshes and tied my hooded indigo cape to my neck loosely.  As I lifted the bag onto my shoulder  I heard footsteps creak through the house.  I felt my heart skip a beat as I stuck to the wall in hiding.  To my relief it was only my big brother Paco, he walked up to me and started to dress himself for going outside.

"Your coming to the forest today?" I questioned, tilting my head.

"Yeah..." He replied solemnly, not stopping to say anything more.

My brother had not been himself since an affair he had with a girl he met.  My parents banned them from ever seeing each other again. Its been around a month now since that happened and he hadn't shown any signs of healing soon.

He sighed and forced a smile at he, rubbing the back of my head.  I smiled back and opened the door, stepping out into the crisp, dark air.  I took I deep whiff of it and stepped off the porch, onto the frozen grass.  My big brother followed me as I sprinted to the edge of the woods, leaving the town behind and entering the mysterious, dead forest.

I let myself glide on a long frozen patch of ice, laughing loudly with my arms outstretched towards the sky.  I stopped in the center of the wintery wonderland and spun around in circles, letting my mind go wild with endless possibilities.  I noticed a genuine smile slip onto Paco's face as he watched me twirling around on the ice.  We both stopped and stared up in amazement as snow flakes began to drift down from the dark sky.  They were quickly accumulating around us and before we even realized it the ground was covered in a thin dusting of snow.  The moonlight glittered on the snowflakes microscopic juts making the forest light up with sparkles.  I leaped up and grabbed the tree branch just above me and swung myself up, standing  tall on the solid wood.  Paco's smiled turned to a smirk as he figured out the game I was starting and used his recent new ability to levitate up to the nearest branch.  He was an expert at parkour but I had soon caught up to him considering we shared the same blood. I leaped from tree branch to tree branch ducking and twirling gracefully through the glittery night sky.  I saw his swift outline aside me dive under branches and catching the forked wood with the curve of his feet, spinning around the trees with incredible speed.  I figured it was time to step it up a notch and I leaped up into the dark sky back flipping across the treetops and bounding off the trees edges.  Paco laughed evilly and shot up in to the air, diving down on to the tops of the pines and doing some epic mobile break dancing that I didn't even think was possible.  Now getting extremely competitive with our little parkour battle I took these matters to the old stone cavern.  We continued our cheering and hysterical laughing within the caves, back flipping over lava falls, diving off cliffs and shooting down the friends that shared the cave with us, not even having to stop with our exceeding skills in both archery and free styling awesomeness.

Before we knew it we had parkoured our day away, hoping to make it a new found tradition between the two of us.  We had never clarified who had won our little competition but I'm almost positive it was me.  As we jumped down onto the roof of our family's house from an over hanging tree we then slipped into the kitchen window.  Our parents were still at work so we neglected in putting away any of the sodden clothing we had shed in front of the icebox.  I sat down on the leather patched couch wearing only my pants as I had discarded all my singed and dirty clothing before hand.  Paco took a seat next to me, handing me a glass of water and patting my head.

"Wow! Some day!" He announced loudly as it was just the two of us.

I laughed and smiled up at him "Yup!  Same time tomorrow big bro?"

He stared at me for a second and burst out laughing in my face.  "Hell yes! lets do this everyday!"  we pumped our fists in the air in unison, shouting as we did.

And parkouring each and everyday is exactly what we did!

For awhile anyways...
