chapter three

Reece.

"Are you actually blind or something?" he asks.

"Wow, gosh I'm sorry I can't see you through your ego." I say sarcastically.

"You bumped into me." he says loud enough for the people around us to hear. "and now you're the one getting angry?"

"For your information, it wasn't my intention to bump into you all I wanted was juice!" I say louder.

"Say sorry." he says.

"Just let it go, Joao." one of them says.

Wow, at least one of them have actual morals in life.

"I can't pass this up, Russ. Once again, SHE BUMPED INTO ME." he says smirking at me.

"I didn't know that I was gonna bump into y-" suddenly I felt all of the juice over my whole body.

He poured it all over me.

"You're so!" I say trying to come up with an insult.

"So what?" he says smirking once again, his cocky friends laugh along with him except of course the other one who tried to stop him awhile ago. I believe his name was Russ or something.

Suddenly all of their eyes darted to someone walking behind me.

"Oh shit, Joao. You're in big big trouble." one of them says.

"Shut up, Ford!" he says.

Then, I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Are you alright?" it was a girl. I look up to see a beautiful girl she was almost too pretty to describe actually.

"Yeah. I'm fine, thank you." I say then she offers her hand to help me get up.

Once I was up she darts her eyes to W5. Strangely they were filled with disgust and disappointment.

"Joao." she smiles sarcastically.

"Steff." he says back with a blank face. Oh! So she's the infamous Steffanie Rodriguez.

"Russell." she smiles with an actual genuine smile. Odd.

"Rodriguez." he smiles back with the same genuine smile. Almost too cute actually, maybe they have a thing going on. Wait what?

Then she smiles over to the other boys, "Niel, Ford, Kuya Tristan. What a way to start the school year. Am I right?" she says sarcastically. Joao rolls his eyes.

She finally faces me, "Let's get you all cleaned up." and she drags me all the way to the bathroom.

BATHROOM.

"Sorry about W5, they're not used to feisty newbies." she laughs.

"Who does Joao think he is, honestly." I say sternly.

"You have no idea." she says sighing.

I suddenly got curious and asked, "You know them pretty well right? You guys seem close."

"Well, I grew up with Joao and Russell. Though mostly Joao, we used to be bestfriends." she says.

"What happened? You aren't bestfriends anymore?" I ask back.

"It ended when he started catching feelings for me, like strong feelings. He was so possessive of me." she says back with her head down, "Joao wasn't always like that. I'm pretty sure it was because of me the way he turned out. I broke his heart, Reece."

I was speechless, she said so much things about herself already. "What about Russell?" I was slightly more curious about Russell than Joao.

"Oh, Russell. He's a sweetheart. I've had a happy crush on him since we were 6. It's quite odd how Joao and Russell get along so well. They have the world's most different personalities." she says chuckling.

"So you like Russell?" I ask.

"Happy crush. He's pretty cute, right?" she asks. "Well, I'm late for my next period. I'll see you later, Reece." she says smiling.

DISMISSAL.

Gosh, I still haven't found Markus. That little bi-

"Reece?!" someone says behind me.

"I have been looking all over for you." I say to Markus.

"What? When?! ...and how?" he whispered.

"You came at the wrong time. God, I'll explain tomorrow. I have to get to work. Bye! Love you!" I say slightly whispering and running out the gate.
